UMEK! His opinion about GATEX REMIXES and more

Yea, I just went to the airport with a friend of mine to take UMEK from there to a local hotel. He is playing at the CLUB DOME www.dome.de tonight.
I asked him what he is thinkin' about the remixes of GATEX.
He said: I hate them, I really hate them because I didnt give them my OK for the mixes. They just released them.. I havent heard the mixes until 2 days ago. The people at Black-Hole Records are nice, good working with them but what they did with the release of GATEX was .
He also said that he will try out some new tunes tonight. Thats also the reason why he didnt want me to record the set. He will try that tunes out to see if the people like them. If so, they will be on the forthcomin TIME WARP 2003 Compilation which is gettin' mixed by him.
I will ask some further questions in the club tonight, so there is more to come ;) |

his set got recorded anyway if its the one from a nite or 2 ago :p
and he must not hav heard the oliver lieb mix coz that owns the original... heck, even tiesto's remix owns the original |

Na the set is goin to happen in a few hours :) I am on my way in a few mins.
And yea he is playing on 3 turntables and he will also use the FX of the PIONEER DJM600 mixer!

| Gawd DAAAAAAAAAAAMN !!!! I am not really into techno but that ing night was amazing! I have never heard a DJ mix like that before! UMEK used 2 FX Gears + PIONEER DJM600 to mix! The crowd went totally MAAAAAAAAAAAAD !!!! I got a ing tinitus now and headache from the tasty wodka-cherry :) |
