Going out tonight! Looking forward to tearing up the dancefloor after nearly a year of being away from it.

We had a sunny week here, topping today with 27C. Next week it will be 10 degrees less again.
My daughter got braces yesterday to correct her bite, I had them to when I was 11 or 12 year's old. During dish-washing she came to me and said "I can't say the 't'!!". I said:"What?". She gave me her angry Duh! look and pointed at the 't' of the Dreft bottle, the dish-washing detergent. :stongue:
Football match tomorrow with the boys, but this time for once at 12:30, which in theory could mean sleeping out. |

Wifey completed chemo #4 this week. She's finally losing hair in massive clumps. :( But, considering she has ANY remaining at this point is beating the odds. She feels like death warmed over, but she is one of the toughest people I know. She will have blood work and a PET scan next week to determine if 2 or 4 more chemo sessions are required. We are, of course, hoping for only 2 more.
This is the first weekend in weeks/months that we'll have good weather for the majority of the weekend. I can't help but wonder if the 7 day forecast image is a lie, just to prevent the state from rioting.
Assuming the weather does hold, I'mma get up off my ass and do SOMETHING outdoors...even if it's just walking laps around the perimeter of the yard, endlessly. |

| I went all the way to see Manchester to see Jeremy Olander, but the "warm-up" DJ was so utterly that I binned the night off and got the train home at 1am before the main man even came on. The clown was playing like he was headlining Creamfields, in a 200 capacity basement. Fortunately, the weather has been lovely for the last four days straight now (a miracle!) and I feel good that I didn't write off my weekend curled up in a darkened room. |
