Isn't his music virtually everywhere? You don't really need to go clubbing to listen to this music - I, for one, knew his music from the radio (hey, we are old!).
I believe we're sad, for the most part, that a human being met such a tragic end, and it was probably amplified by the fact that most of us here can relate to what must've gone in his mind before being propelled to fame... and then being a terrible fit. |

Not quite. 8 players died, another later in hospital and two never played again due to their injuries. Only 7 survived and played football again, but 3 of them weren't regular starters.
All of those 8 players that died in the crash had played the match they were returning from, and two that survived never played again so in essence, Manchester united basically lost 10 starting players on their team. ing horrific.
For a while at least in the UK, teams didn't all travel on one plane (my granddad was an engineer for BOAC/BA and he went in to great detail about the crash and it's aftermath etc) - It was probably a knee jerk reaction tbh and I think it relaxed again over the years as air travel got safer. |

where nearly the entire team died on their way to colombia
the survivors played a friendly against fc barcelona in honor of the lost players last year and were beaten 5-0 ....barca didn't go easy on em despite the circumstances

Jack already mentioned that. It was an incredibly stupid disaster (the pilot didn't plan the route correctly and didn't have enough fuel).
I was kinda surprised that Barca brutalized them so badly. Sorry your teammates died, we're going to crush you regardless. In a friendly. |

im going to be honest i live out in the burbs now, so i rarely do, the taxi fare is a lot on rare nights i do , however lira is right avicii made the type of dance music that could be heard anywhere , a shopping mall, sports game, on the radio etc it was very accessible i dont know if that made it necessarily refreshing but i guess it did in regards to his contemporaries
anyway most of my post was a farce and i was still hearing this news for the first time, r.i.p to the kid in any case.
