Wife and I are getting ready for Mother's Day this Sunday and getting something for our respective matriarchs. I'm getting mine a t-shirt and my wife got her mum a cooktop and an oven, which makes my present look pretty lousy in comparison... It's like Kanye watching Childish Gambino delivering greatness :p
Also, Celtics made it to the conference finals and I'm hopeful they can beat LeBron (not too hopeful though). Also, it's weird to see hockey finals without Kings, Bruins, Penguins and Blackhawks, but here we are, and as much as it pains me to see a Bruinsless final, I hope Vegas Golden Knights lift the Stanley Cup this year.
You? |

| I feel like death. I dunno wtf I have or what I ate, but today is going to be rough. Hoping my husband will be able to come home from work. |

| No plans. We're finally getting a bunch of ceiling damage repaired, though, so that's good. |

My wife's first mother's day is upon me and I got her some baby related memorial keepsake letter thingies. I figure she would love something sentimental and emotional like that. From baby I got her a book of fuzzy textures to read to him. Also scheduled some professional photos for us. Not sure what I'm going to get my mother, maybe just some flowers this year. A grandchild is a good enough present imo :o

Terry Rozier is my guy (Louisville alumni!) and the Celtics have a lot of heart but LeBron James is an absolute goddamned steamroller and is playing his best basketball ever perhaps. The X factor will be Kevin Love, and if he can continue playing well like he did against Toronto. If he does, it's game over for the C's.

My Predators lost so unfortunately I'm going to check out of the NHL this playoffs. I'm more of an NBA guy anyway so it doesn't bother me that much. |

| Hahaha, for mother's day I asked for my husband to pay for my bumper + paint repair. Seemed appropriate since it happened in a parking lot when I was buying breast pads after the baby was first born. I didn't see it, but I hadn't left the house in weeks so I knew that's when and where it happened. |

Football match tomorrow morning, friends visiting in the afternoon, mother's day on Sunday and then Giro and F1 somewhere in between I hope.
O, and the Eurovision song stuff probably also will be on tomorrow evening as our Waylon made it in the finals with his country-style song. |

| Saturday here. No plans, but I do have a bunch of boring chores to get done. The upside is that chores = loud music, so at least there's that. |

| A quiet one. Some reading and some writing. Some running tomorrow, although my hamstrings are not taking kindly to my attempts to integrate running with daily cycling. I'm hoping to catch A Quiet Place in the cinema tomorrow evening as well. I know almost nothing about it, but the general premise and the glowing reviews make it look promising. |

Had considered it, cause we had a bagged salad with dinner last night, and I was fine before that. But my husband is fine, and I would be a looooot sicker. I def still think it was the salad, but not e coli thank . |

Yeah, exactly! Even statisticians seem to be confused. FiveThirtyEight (which I follow religiously) has contradicting information about the bracket - the it gives Cleveland a 60% chance to move on, yet, it also predicts Celtics in 7. It's pretty much a toss-up, apparently.
I feel bad for the Golden State Warriors though. They'd probably be able to smash most teams in the Eastern Conference, yet their odds of beating the Rockets are even lower. Fear the beard, I guess, heh.

I remember you were supporting them, so I hoped they'd make it... Oh, well, so long, and thanks for all the catfish :p |
