We'll be keeping the capitalism in just one thread, thanks :p

It's Friday evening here, and I'm doing all. Roasting a chicken in the oven, drinking wine, and catching up on Westworld.

Tomorrow is a clean-the-ing-house day (mad week), so my neighbours will love some good music, whether they want it or not.

It's 5 AM and I'm sitting in an airport in Buenos Aires waiting for my connection to Bariloche. I feel like I'm still in Brazil, except everybody speaks funny and way too fast.

I originally intended to go snowboarding later today, but let's be honest - my body is a wreck right now and I'll be glad if I make it to the hotel before passing out in a snowbank and turning into a human frozen pizza :p

EDIT: High latitudes are really messed up. I'm used to sunrise being 6:30 pretty much all year round... Yet the sun isn't supposed to shine before 8 AM here!? What the hell?! I've found a sweet spot right next to the beach next to the airport so I could romantically watch the sunrise with my wife, but this is malfunctioning Earth rotation thingy is totally spanner to my plans. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

London this weekend, and Fabric.

It's my Saturday to work, so that will consume half the day. Other than that, just heat, humidity, and mowing the grass. We've had regular rains this summer, so the yard is especially green for mid-July. The rain does keep the dust down, though, so that's fine by me. Nothing like turning left for 2 hours in a dust cloud to say "hello!" to ye olde sinuses. I'm ready for mid/late September so I can put the cabin to use.

Well, when I almost made this thread yesterday I was going to begin with a rant about how I had to spend all day emailing my manager to tell her how to give me my extra time off when my mat leave ends next week. But then I realized yesterday was Thursday and that issue has been resolved, phew!

Radiohead tonight. Their first time in Toronto in over 20 years I'm pretty sure. Last time they were here the show was cancelled, tragically, because one of their crew was killed during stage set up. That was 5 or 6 years ago. Second show tonight, and I'm so pumped. Set lists for the second night shows have been looking amazing (at least lots of my personal favorites).

Friend I haven't seen in a while coming to visit tomorrow then prob try to nap at some point on Sunday, lol.

how'd you go with the expanse? i wasn't a fan of the time-jump mid season. i wasn't a fan of BSG's either, but the expanse's really felt like the cancellation changed its direction. it's almost like B5's close calls are a standard thing for space operas.

i go to a cottage today but my forces are not strong enough to claim it for myself

The wrist problems I've been having since my bike accident were revealed by an MRI to be torn cartilage in two places. I still can't lift a 10 lb weight with my right arm unless it's hammer curl style. It's even worse because it's my dominant hand. Seeing a wrist specialist in a couple weeks, will hopefully figure out what to do.

We’ve been having fantastic weather. Went blueberry picking the other day and hope to do river tubing this weekend. It’s great being a wealthy capitalist. :toocool:
