@Chris yeah I grew up with a dishwasher and then moved into a house that didn't have one in my 20's. I despised scrubbing everything by hand, especially armed with just a sponge. The brush with a handle is the ing bomb though, I can't believe I went so long using only sponges. |

I have several TA's on my Facebook and their lives are equally as boring as this. (With a few exceptions)
Hey Kenny, do you want to hear about my investment portfolio? Our Costco membership? How about the fact that we have to skip concerts and artists we want to see because we have a 7 month old? |

| I have a dishwasher but only use it for gatherings. I find doing dishes before going to bed or going off to work cathartic. It’s a mundane task that clears the mind. Besides by the time you wash off the lose food before putting it in the dishwasher it almost fully clean. |

| An argument could be made, that pre-rinsing the dishes is a total waste of water. Just dump the , as it is, in the washer, and start a program. There's a filter in the internal water outlet for a reason! A quick rinse for the filter after each machineful of dishes is better than rinsing every single plate before putting them in the washer, you water-wasting fascists. If there's still food on the plate when you're thinking of washing it, pack it in a container and put it in the fridge, or scoop it in your biowaste basket with a fork, before putting the plate in the washer. |
