i think if you were real good... you wouldn't need a really high quality acapella to work with...
sure it sounds better... but a great track with poor vocals is better than a poor track with great vocals... |

| well.. there are a couple of ppl who are using the 1st (lo-fi) vocal (including me).. so u`ll hear wether or not u can manage 2 get a nice remix with an lo-fi vocal:rolleyes: |

I don't think greatness has anything to do with it, you can't make gold out of , if you know what I mean. I've tried cleaning it up using various restoration plugins and utilities and the result is that it sounds just as bad as the first becuase of all the frequencies you end up cutting off.
I am sure that you can do something with the vocals if you totally distort them, cut them up or whatever, but I doubt any of you would settle for the lofi version if you had access to something better.
All I am trying to do is to see if that's possible, if not then obviously I'll settle for what's available.

| I'm using the lofi sample and it seems to be fine in the song, you don't really notice it when there are other sounds along with it. |

Come on guys... stop complaining about that sample... It's the best we have so we'll have to work with it... Unless ofcourse someone has (or can make) a better sample... But I don't think that's gonna happen...
So shut up and start mixing :D :p |
