| Ultra vs EDC... who is the King of Festivals in the US? Note* this is specifically Ultra vs EDC. Can't include Beyond Wonderland or Escape from Wonderland or any of those other Insomniac events. Simply Ultra vs EDC. |

If you’re comparing just the 2 festivals hand and hand EDC all the way.
If you’re comparing Ultra week vs EDC week, Ultra MMW all day. Way better parties, way more going on and just wayyy more diverse. Don’t get me wrong EDC week is legit now, they have parties basically all week just like MMW. But the diversity isn’t there, there isn’t a Space closing party, there isn’t an elrow festival (yet), trance festivals, circo locos, ANTS & etc parties. You’re very limited EDC week, and not many good large after hours. Where as in Miami you can start parting Tuesday and party non stop until the Space marathon ends on Wednesday, over a week later with many diverse parties and pop up shops in between. ADE is the only thing that compares with MMW, I witnessed it in person last year at the biggest ADE ever. But even at its largest ever, MMW has it beat, by a lot. I went to both in 2018. Ibiza fits somewhere in there during the season, but still un matched by MMW. |

EDC Vegas production is insane and HUGE. It's mind blowing how big it is, where as Ultra realistically isn't that big. The only dope part is that its on the beach. But it's not even beach side unless you're back stage.
EDC has 3-4 HUGE stages going on with insane production, Ultra usually only has 2 going on. EDC also has way better things going on like the boombox cart, entertainers walking around and a little more organized and has more thought into it. Like even when you walk in you get an amazing ahh at EDC at Ultra its cool, but not that awesome. Also walking to main stage is an experience with going on both sides of you all the way until you get there. Where as Ultra just dirt and grass. They do dope things here and there but EDC just does it 10x better. |

That was around my first WMCs. They had a sub forum with just all FAQs from public transit to where to stay and of course the party event thread with every party imaginable !! |
