Thanks, guys :)
By the way, in case this tip is ever useful: if you're in Florida, Texas, or south of Rio Grande and you feel drowsy or groggy, go to a hospital even if you believe you're absolutely fine. Now that I am better, people keep telling me the stories of the ones that didn't make it. The stories are eerily similar: healthy adults (mid-20's to late 30's) felt a little feverish and weak, but no other symptoms whatsoever (the telltale signs of dengue, such as rashes and pain behind the eyeballs, were mostly absent). Who's never felt like that at some point?
After a couple of days, their blood pressure dropped due to internal bleeding. By then, it's really hard to make it to the hospital in time. A nurse, who actually was in a hospital, failed to be reanimated because no one knew she was down with dengue, and when the staff first pressed against her chest, her insides simply collapsed.
So, yeah, better safe than sorry, folks, go to a damn hospital!

So Peru lost to Brazil as usual..:( |
Hey, now, Peru put up a good fight! They scored the only goal we allowed on regular time in the competition, improved a lot compared to what it went like in the group stage and, because of Peruvian players, Gabriel Jesus wept :p
We held on for dear life on Maracanã, that's no small feat. |

Luminosity weekend at the beach in Bloemendaal, load of trance dj's there. Another (non-trance) festival tomorrow in the city were I went to school and work now, just a few minutes from my home where Ben Liebrand will perform. Never was that nearby.
But unfortunately we will be above Amsterdam visiting my sister in law for a birthday. Maybe next year combine it with a Luminosity visit.

Sorry for hi-jack but a lot of my Seattle Trance Alliance peeps were over there for Lumi. DJ Scot Project just did a 3 hour producer set here in Seattle on Friday. I've been watching all of the sets via YouTube. If I go next year, I'll hit you up |

| You know your getting old when the number one topic is talking about your health issues. |

Good point what’s the age of consent in Brazil?
I wonder if Lira had a nearer death experience would he have found religion and gone on a Ayahuasca retreat? |

Haha, can't say much about religion, but I've definitely splurged on music software and gone on a cheese eating binge. Gouda, mozzarella, brie, minas... my blood has probably so much dairy the next mosquitos had better not be lactose intolerant :p |

Listening and producing cheesy music too?
I’ve been researching hand knife sharpening on a stone. I ordered one from Japan. Will be coming next week. I can’t wait hopefully I can master it. The Japanese have quite an impressive tradition. Eventually I’d like to get a hand crafted knife but they’re so expensive. |

Yes, good music is like good lasagna: full of layers and cheese :D

Is it one of those ginzu knives? They used to be all the rage around here :) |

I own a set of Wusthofs they are good but the Germans are as boring as can be. The knives I bought 20 years ago are the same as sold today and are produced by machines.
The Japanese knives are an art form, hand made by craftsman, at least the high end ones. I caution you my friend once you go down that worm hole there’s no escaping. It’s probably more expensive than a drug addiction.
I was looking at the Gesshin Ittetsu line today...

If I was going to start out I’d begin with a Gyuto. The cheapest starts out at $150 and I couldn’t see myself going over $350...
