Yep. People take mixing for granted these days. At one point if you could mix flawlessly it was regarded as a skill to behold, but by the 00's when everyone and their daughter had decks, it became a given. Dj'ing was messy in those days, not this clean thing of pre programmed sets mixed in ableton or sync locked on CDJ's.
I think that's one of the things about Sasha - he was not only able to lock in a 5 minute transition but he was actively doing melodic mixing a good 10 years before it become a thing. No one knew what it was in the 90's and he had mastered it fully, then started to bring in things on CD like pads to layer over tracks.
There's a great oped/interview somewhere where it argues that there will never be "another Sasha" simply because he was so far ahead of the average DJ at the time, and since then a lot of those things (perfect beatmatching, mixing in key, adding FX etc) have become automated and taken for granted. |

What do Mad4brad and Rann have in common? Lying. It's obvious why they became the best of buddies the first day m4b registered and typed his first post.
One lied about guillard was it? that famous piano school.
The other, we're about to find out. :D
On top of that nobody has seen a photo of Rann yet his main attribute is impressing everyone with his past life as if we're supposed to shake his hand, I mean who likes to impress strangers on an internet forum.
I want to see paper-work or photocopy id. Do this and I'll never type another word on here again otherwise please show your way out. If you have balls to impress us, i'm sure you got the same pair to prove it.

I'm very calm Stu, can you point to me where I wasn't? For example; yelling, using exclamation marks, cursing, or typing in caps? Why do you have to set the rules for yourself on here. It's like you get banned for posting a lot, today TA received more traffic "posts" from other members than any day in the past few months. I know Rann is your friend and all and I see you want to ban me before he reads the post above so gets away without answering or prove any of his so-called accomplishments. :(
What do you want for this place? Have it with traffic or completely dead as usual? It's like a contradiction going on with your job here. I see that your notion of this place that its cool to keep post to a minimum ok that's fine. Now an enforced rule, wow.

Your posting has been really manic over the last couple of days. The fact that you don't even notice is a little bit concerning. Just ing cool it, you don't have to post 20+ times a day in every thread you find. It's massively annoying to other users.

So, can you point to us which are manic posts because I'm calm as a feather. Whatever happen to ItsMeMario's posts, which was very very crazy, yet none of the mods did anything, now shall I point those out? |

He hasn't posted here regularly in years, but I'll agree with you that his posts were pretty nuts on occasion. The difference? He hasn't been repeatedly banned over the years for ting all over this forum -- You have. He didn't make alt after alt after alt to circumvent suspensions -- You did. Honestly, how many are we up to now?
Every time I ban you it starts with all this manic bull that you don't seem to be able to see. The rest of us sure can. |
