| When I was in high school, this little backwoods convenience store would sell you Bartles and James wine coolers, regardless of age. We used to get the peach ones and slam 4 in like 10 minutes, hoping for some kind of buzz. I never got one...just sick from the sugar. But by god we kept trying. We moved on to 40s after that. I had a friend that always requested a Bud Light 40 if we found someone old enough to make a beer run. He was an avid online gamer at the time, and he would sit the 40 on his desk while he played Quake capture the flag tournaments. When it was room temp, he'd drink it one go, then game the night away. Room temp Bud Light would have sent me to the porcelain throne. |

That's what I was going to say - I seem to recall reading something relatively recent that led me to believe that any protection conveyed may be very short lived, relatively speaking. If that's the case, things are going to be "interesting" for a much longer time. |
Current forecasts say chances are high for a new big wave sometime between September and January, unless we get a vaccine by then. But it's hard to tell, especially since we don't know why certain individuals are more at risk than others or how many people have actually caught the virus and were asymptomatic and didn't notice. Maybe some places have herd immunity now? Unclear.
But, if you have the antibodies, you should have the T-Cells, too, which seem to last much longer, potentially the rest of one's life. People still have T-cells from the 2003 SARS virus. |

In Florida we didn't have 40s. We had "quarts" - or 32 ouncers. Kind of lame, but we used to slam the Olde E.
Have you ever had Boone's Farm? Delicious, isn't it? |

If this is still peaking when flu season hits, some more high risk people could be double ed, unfortunately. And not proper ed, like in Snatch. |

Oh yeah. Boone's Farm...and the worst was Mad Dog 20/20. Jesus Humphrey Mortimer Christ on a pogo stick (TM), there is NOTHING worse than puking up Mad Dog 20/20 Banana Red and the next day's hangover from that . |

There will definitely be a second wave in the UK. I'd bet all my winnings from the stock market this summer. Winter is coming.
My theory is that they are trying to get as much out of the economy as they can right now before the hits the fan again. |

Mad Dog was my limit. I steered clear of that. I've heard horror stories though. Can't believe it's legal to sell like that lol. |

It's fuggin' horrendous, sir. I have never seen anything like it. Even cheap gallons of red wine, which are in their own right the mother of all hangovers...there is some of The Devil (TM) in every bottle of Mad Dog. What's bad is I went back to that well on more than one occasion. This is sad, but true. I did it...might as well own it. |

| My best friend in Korea loved Carlo Rossi mixed with Gin. What a lethal combo. There's another wine you should stay away from if you want a peaceful and pleasant night. And I've disliked gin ever since. |

A friend once described gin to me as "it's like licking a pine tree". It's been so long since I've had gin that I honestly don't recall. |

Haha. Never heard that before and I think it's an almost perfect description (gin is too dry to taste minty). I suppose gin is like whisky. You either like it or you don't.
I love cognac. I find it doesn't have as much of a divisive attitude toward it. I'm no liquor snob though. Cut that out a long time ago. Beers and wines for me, por favor. |

| I would have to try cognac again. In my "I don't like liquor" days, I rejected it. *swirls brandy snifter and lights cigar* |
