I personally don't care if anyone wants to talk about the election, though I am burnt out of it all myself. Thank Christ I don't live down there.
There's not been as much coverage here as usual, perhaps because Covid is dominating the headlines. From the outside it certainly looks like Biden should win, but we all know what happened last time. Is the rest of TA simply as burned out as you are, hence the lack of discussion?

Probably, but also how many people really post here anymore, let alone anything of substance? lol
I watched a 15 min vid on Youtube last week, breaking down Biden's lead on Trump. No doubt that, if he DOES win, the battle will not be over on election day. is gonna be ugly no matter what.

I wonder what will actually happen if Biden-Harris manages to win. I feel like the would-be star of the show is just too senile to put on a beliavable charade when meeting other world leaders, unless he can use a teleprompter.
My YouTube recommendations are full of all kinds of partisan videos about why someone left the left, how some republican is against Trump, and so on. I think along the way I've gotten very confused on what's true and what's not true regarding US politics in general, and these channels and their videos aren't helping. Surely there must also exist good non-partisan commentators on US politics on YouTube and elsewhere, but this constant bombardment of propaganda via YouTube recommendations after watching one video about politics makes me wonder how the average American decides who to vote for. I guess most people must be able to see through some of the usual crap if they're used to it, but the propaganda, if you can call it that, must have a net effect in the end.

It's too hot, and we've received hyperthermia warnings for the first time ever. I can barely think :(

As the moderator of the PDD, I hereby declare 'tis the season.
In 2016, FiveThirtyEight gave Trump a 1 in 3 chance of victory. Not good, but not bad either, and he did it. Now, they give him a 1 in 8 victory, not good at all. I just hope this means Pumpkin Spice Kanye is on his way out of the White House and other fake strongmen such as Naro will follow him to mediocreland, from whence they came and where they should sod right off back to.
This is too tiring, really. I can't believe we're stuck with Jair for two more years.

Wifey returned to work two weeks ago (I finally got married last month btw) so I'm pulling daddy duty on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. I'm afraid of a heavy Saturday night affecting me on Monday morning, so Fridays are now my only night to do it. But I've honestly not had the taste for it since the weather has turned and my responsibilities have changed.
That said, I just received my new custom sideboard for my setup and moved the decks back into the living room to make way for our boy. We're not allowed to invite people over at the moment, and that probably won't change until spring, but I reckon we'll have some fun Friday night jams here soon, even if it's just the two of us.
