So I've been seeing a lot of videos (of people i don't know) partying in Tulum Mexico. I've been there once but only to do touristy stuff (beautiful btw!).
Has this town become the new Play del Carmen? I remember these smaller "one-off" parties in Tulum during BPM. When did Tulum become the hot spot? And more importantly... how are people partying during a surge COVID cases? |

Renaissance do a lot of big parties there. They had one scheduled for January that was moved back to April due to Covid (don't bet against it moving again), which suggests the pandemic is impacting on parties. I've also seen Nick Warren is doing a Soundgarden event there around the same time.
I'm far too geographically removed to have any input on how it became a hotspot, but it must be turning into a big party destination if even a Brit 5,000 miles away is aware of it. |

i'll echo what i said in a previous thread....
i feel like Tulum is becoming a poor man's Miami sorta speak! Between all the table service areas and sluts who are 6s walking around like they are 10s
I have a place in Playa and usually visit Tulum for a day and it was never as active as it was in the past few years! |

I am still trying to take in that I have lived to see an attempted coup by a sitting president, 100 duly elected lawmakers, and a mob...in my lifetime. And what's even more upsetting, perhaps, is that not a single criminal charge will be filed (against the politicians), and those 100 Republicans will simply be re-elected by their constituents. |

It wasn't an attempted coup, it was an insurrection / sedition. Very ed up, nevertheless. Would not have believed in 2012 that within a decade I'd be aligned with Mitt Romney against the sitting president :( |
