why the are you guys reviewing this like it's some proper set?

LOL.
you do realize he had like what 5 minutes? and not to mention booking him to do a halftime show for a sporting event is really ing stupid. its like hiring a plumber to do your electrical work, come on son.
he played that sports song everybody knows about since the 90s space jam movie came out, and then mashed up his most popular "ya ya" song that everyone knows about and is also terrible. he played songs that people would probably recognize, a shot in the dark.
he also has to work with a team of choreographers and dancers to actually play songs they can sort of work with and it barely came together.
yall are acting like he can play for hours in front of a crowd that actually gives a . these are a bunch of beer-guzzling sports fans that would rather catch a taylor swift upskirt rather than your electronic music enthusiast that will look for flow, and everything else.
it was a joke and should be treated as such |

I'm not taking it that seriously haha, however I still felt the need to add some commentary to this , I mean I get it , it's not pacha or the berghain, but for some reason I feel less of a need to talk about those types of gigs because those gigs speak for themselves , this is something else . |

We need someone to create a web app with this video in it and then allow you to choose multiple audio tracks (with channels) in a drop down so you can mix and choose the optimal mix of tunes to go with the visuals
:haha::wtf: |

He's got a point though. Ask anyone here to talk about new music and you get about four replies. Make some thread about Armin or Tiesto's latest circus act and suddenly the place comes alive. What needs saying about this bull? |

Because despite this event being lame, lazy, laughable, ridiculous, farcical, and Not Good, it's still an event.
Events generate discussion, even if it's -posts.
The release of a trance single used to be events, especially 'round these here parts, just not as much anymore. And while it's a nice find whenever a nice tune emerges from the annual slush pile, and is shared here, that's not really much of an event that generates discussion.
As for the records that actually DO come out as events, very few of those seem to be of the sort of music that is widely liked here. |

| That's a long winded way of saying most people here are completely out of touch with current dance music and have nothing to say about it. |

Stef Mendesidis - Klockworks 33 and Deniro -Identifier. Probably the two best techno EP's I've heard during 2021. |
