| ok here is what I am really aking. Since most of us live in different parts of the world I would like to hear about your most known home town venue ( within 1 hour from your home ). Be descriptive so everyone can kind of imagine it. YOu know does it have balconies or multi stages how many people can fit Ect... I will post about mine later today.:gsmile: |

| Two clubs, same complex (8 rooms between them...7 in the guv, 1 in koolhaus)...same owner...same everything. THe guvernment/the koolhaus...brings all the big name deejays to play in toronto. |

Well we have many clubs here in the local glasgow club scene.
They are:
The arches: Best place in my opinion, set in an underground are underneath railway bridge arches, glasgows hardest club atracts some of the best dj's around, picotto,tallatxlc,marco-v and nick warren are among some of the hundreds of big djs who have spun there.
Quite simply the most rockin club in glasgow imo.
Privalage: This clubs popularity is increasing every week due to the closure of one of glasgows major clubs "Destiny". Playin out to the younger crowds destiny caters for the mainstream cheese crew most of the time and at other times gets totally rocked with the arrival of glasgows most popular dj trevor riley.
Mannequins2:
This club is in within minutes from me and i dj at it regularly. 2 Dance floors, 3 bars and a chillout area plus a room full of old cheese music.
This club caters for the REALLY young crowd, most of these kids arent even 18 yet and the oldest average age for a kid in here is 19.
Most of the other dj's in mannequins spin a cheesy selection of euro pop and old tunes along the lines of scooter,starsplash,dj's at work etc, which really aint my scene at all. TUnes for the "Neds" as we say in glasgow.
Although my sets are just pure adrenaline filled trance madness that they love to hear once and a while.
Nine times out of ten im legless on vodka when i dj here lol!
THeres a few more clubs but really i cant be azzed typin any more just come to glasgow u lazy beyach ;) lol |

its an awesoemlittle trance club, the only decent pure trnace club left in the north east out of all the big boys, so its pretty much laughing coz that includes newcastle, sunderland, darlington, durham, and teeside.
has greta lineups all the time too, and is only 9 quid entry, and open til 4am. like a minigatecrasher with matt hardwick as resident!

my local venue for parties is not a club it is an old once abandoned theater where popular plays used to be held. It has a lobby and on both side there are rounded staircases that lead to an upstairs lobby. From the bottom lobby they have about 4 enrties onto the main floor which contains about 1000 movie seats and a large dance floor from which you can walk up to the stage which is only about 4 feet above. Behind the mains stage there is a three story wall where the strobes, lazers and graphics are rigged. They are also present on both adjacent walls. From the second lobby you can go to the top balcony which has about the same # of seats and a little walkway. Also to the right of the second balcony there is a record shop set up with pool tables, couches and merchendise where people go to hang out and relax. From this room you can access another room "the jungle room" and outside of this room you can get to a thrid flight of stairs leading outside onto the roof top. This is great because it overlooks the French Quater in New Orleans which for those of you who do not know is a very large turist attraction. On big parties djs spin all over including the lobbies and the roof. This venue has attracted duch djs as Oakenfold, Van Dyke, Rabbit in the Moon, and Dieselboy among hundreds of others.

This is an amzing club with 2 rooms, 7 bars and an electric atmosphere!!Lush is held every Saturday night in the Kellys complex in Portrush on the north coast of Northern Ireland. The night has been running for well over 5 years and is arguably our number 1 club catering for progressive house and occasionally trance. The event is run by Alan Simpson and resident DJ Col Hamilton (one of the most underrated DJ's in the United Kingdom). In its time Lush has seen the cream of international DJ's play from Dave Seaman, Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren to Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto and James Zabeila.

| well in LA we got spundae..good club gets some good entertainment and after hour powers starts at 2am..had marco v 2 weeks ago and 2 many other clube LA is quite good not like the uk offcourse |

Promise is class and they have 2 massive walls of speakers at the front that are ing loud and a tuck shop upstairs sometimes:crazy: :crazy: |
