I know this thread idea is cliche and has been done before, but this track felt like an experience

Midlothian
In terms of experience a lot of what is supposed to pass as "trance" these days feels like being bludgeoned to serious death while being on the receiving end of a severe arse battering.
SYSTEM-J
How did I know in advance that Matt's selection would be just another random trance oldie that could fit in any of his threads?
Mattsanity
My bad. Perhaps a Blue Amazon or BT record from 1995 would've made this thread more sensible.
Midlothian
I'd say Junkie XL stuff from 99/early 00s, like Future in Computer Hell Pt2, Bon Voyage. Maybe Slacker.

Phil Collins - In the Air Tonight

Had a vocoder and synths in 1981. Ahead of its time and definitely an experience.

The first one that comes in my mind:

Cape Town - Metaphorique (Ferry Tayle Neverending Story Mix) [2007]

To me you get a long nice journey with several phases/chapters/moods :-)

Lil' Louis - French Kiss (Extended 12") [1989]
