Opinions on djmag's #1...DJ Tiesto

| Im sure many of you have heard about Tiesto claiming his rightful #1 spot on djmag's rank. Many brits aren't happy with this...some saying that he shouldn't be #1. What do you guys think?? |

| Tiesto is Great, But I would have preffered Armin as number one. But the way Armin is going he will be number one for sure next year. So until then I will wait. |

| yeah i'm with you on that one. its just that tiesto deseves a number one, even tho he might not be the best this year. the number one should be seen as a reward for his career as a "whole". |

Yes, that is true. Good point (thumbs up). But I am certain Armin Will Have number one next year. |

this DJ ranking is so subjective .. so again dun take it too seriously
altho i think Tiesto deserves #1.. he's worked hard for a long time and created a lot of very memorable tracks for the scene. let him have it for atleast 1 year .. |

| i have been a tiesto follower since 1999. always been in my top 5. i don't care if he falls off the top 100 because i'll still go see him play live. too much emphasis on who is the best each year. my favourite djs are oakie, pvd and tiesto. i'll go see them play regardless of what the rest of the masses are saying.:tongue2 |

| Personally after DD 2002....tiesto's year went downhill....he kept playing the same damn tracks and his mixing became rubbish. Sasha should have got the nod for top dj because his airdrawndagger was amazing and the sets I heard from him were amazing but then again, I did vote in this poll and the fans have spoken....till next year I guess. |

it could also be that Sasha dorped a spot do to the fact that he took some time off to work on the rest of the album. Plus he was in a car accident and took time to recover. And after trying to get back into the DJ'ing 6 months later he said it was not the same he had problems getting back to the way it was before. I mean mixing wise. And no I am not makin any of this up it's all words spoken by Sasha when he was interviewed for www.i-dj.co.uk |

I completely agree with you ahlamalek, tiesto has worked real hard for that number one spot and my opinion he sure deserves it...
Also every year the number one dj changes and armin would definately deserve that number one spot as well.
I just wish that Mauro Picotto and Sander Kleinenberg would of made it into the top ten, they deserve to be amongst the best!!!! |

I don't know.. I don't think Armin deserves #1 spot.
There is nothing unique or special about him. He always plays a bunch of good new tracks, but I think something is missing about him that must be there to be #1. Whenever I hear him live I feel that the order of his tracks is somewhat random. There is no journey like there is with Tiesto(when he is at his top). |
