It does exist... it's the kind of trance that evolved to EBM (as you can see on the map). It's some kind of evil uplifting trance :) There was a thread about it last month, I guess ;)

Ishkur's idea was very nice, but the problem of his guide is that he spends half of his time bashing most genres, so you don't really learn much out of it. I did some research on history of electronic music and stuff, so the noob will be happy (I hope). And I will add samples too (and differently form Ishkur's guide, I'll add more than one sample per genre). |
