There was a huge discussion on J00f on TA back in the early 2010's. He wasn't making purely uplifting trance but I guess it doesnt matter because he had his own unique style.

I don't know he already had his own style by blending them even back in 2002. I have heard his old sets as well. But nowadays it seems to very monotone.

Needs some work but solid effort your track sound anything better played on ASOT and JOOF's radio combined.

Productions like this needs a bit of work with the mastering layering is fine and needs some work to make subtle changes. It's better than calling 99.

This definitely has that nostalgic 90's feel to it!

Just gave you a follow as well!

haha yes ! followed back

i use old samples and no side chain or modern overproductions techniques. keep everything simple as i can. most of my focus is the chord progression/melody/sub melodies/stabs that kinda thing. :tongue3

modern tracks are too busy and follow a specific template of sounds. makes them all kinda samey. even the chord progressions follow a similar endlessly uplifting structure.

my tunes wont fit in a modern set. they just sound out of place :clown:

Here is the thing Djs were able to fit older tracks when some of them didn't sound bad and some of them sounded the same so and I think it's excuse of being out of his place when they should fit perfectly. It's not your job as a producer to make it work it's the djs job and I think it's an excuse because at the end of the day your job/hobby is just to make the track.

I mean this is an example, but hear how good this sound it's so simple and we've heard a simple guitar sounds, atmospheric pads and arpeggios and melody with simple percussion so many times but with this track it works so well.

My only critique is the timing of the percussion it sounds slightly off needs better mastering.
