i like tiesto's production a lot more then paul van dyk
only thing is that tiesto not always makes is own music...
i have a bad feeling about that... for about 50 % geert hunnink is making music for tiesto |

PvD
He has his very own style and is an extremely versatile DJ, he easily varies the themes in his sets.
Tiestos sets always sound similar from set to set ...
But, he gained some ground lately because his latest sets were simply incredible. |

I don't know... Tiesto seems so much more versatile in music style. yes, he may play a lot of his own tracks. But I think you can easily pick out what a "paul van dyk" song is. That is, what kind of song paul van dyk would play. ok ok ok. So I have to admit however, I looked at PvD's Rane + Ableton Set up. and he has scored major points, he does a lot more than a dj now. it's almost like live music, i.e. guitar, piano. etc. so he's definitely worthy of much respect. i just think his sets have the same sound throughout the whole set. |

| I would vote for Armin, but in this pool then for Dj Tiesto. He's ISOS are excellent (mostly). |

| His Heineken Music Hall set nearly blew me away back in December 2005 a few months back. It was a very good set but not as great as I know him to be. To top that off he comes out with "The Love We Lost" under his Allure alias and ISOS 4. After his drop to #2 in the world's top dj's he then releases ISOS 5 and is expected to come out with an album late 2006. Regardless, Tiesto is waking up ever since his fall to #2. He's produing more and according to Tiesto he said it's not going to be filled with "love comes again" or "traffic" type tracks which leaves me with high hopes. |

| I'd personally go with PVD first. But I love Tiestos music as well.So Im a bit confused. Can't really compare the two,as they have different styles.Tiesto has a more exotic, jungle beat/theme going on.The vocals in the tracks he spins, and produces have a passionate or melancholy theme.I love that about Tiesto.PVD's music kinda opens the gateways to a higher music production.I like how he reworks alot of other artists songs, and listening to a mix of his own Original work never gets boring.IE:"Out there and Back". |
