I never promised that i show up, but now i wish i had. It is great to hear you all guys had fun. I could not manage to come.
I might have an answer, why girls never go for trance parties. WE GIVE ALL ATTENTION TO TRANCE AND NOT TO GIRLS. We can understand that, we are tranceaddicts, but they can't. Trance is that kind of music where it is hard to dance with the girl or give her much attention. There gotta be something else @ the parties and not just Trance. Almost all the Hip Hop assosiates with Half naked ladies butt shaking, almost falling out boobs out of the 3 size smaller bra and hip hop got some words. Although those words dont make much of a sence but it does make sence for the girl.
Trance culture was always been underground, that is another reason. If i tell to somebody trance party, they always say, everybody will be on mad drugs, U gotta be crazy to go to the rave. The reputration of trance is not that high, it is just a popularity. Crap is everywhere, trance is only on tranceaddict.
If I go out, i never go go without Tonya, mu girlfriend. If i give her a choice to go to Turbulence or paparazzi, she sais Paparazzi of course. She knows she will be the only or almost the only girl @ the party if she goes for trance party. Well, I love her, and i go where she wants. I will be so much happier if she will be happy.

I've always thought that men in general are smarter than women. Similarly I always thought that jews are smarter than other nations..
I mean men achieved way more than women, and similarly jews(like 20% of all Nobel prize winners are jews, wheres jews constitute no more than 0.5% of world population) have achieved way more than any other nation. But then as I grew older I realized something...
Women were never pushed to achieve anything. For thousands of years parents barely ever taught their daughters anything because they knew that purpose of a woman is to be a housewife. Women never got education equal to men. This is changing now. There are now more and more women who achieve a lot.
Same goes for Jewish people. Whereever they lived, most people hated them. So in order to survive that, parents always gave their children the best education possible so that their children have a better life..
So my point I guess is... "smartness" of a person, doesn't really depend on his nation or sex.. It depends on his genes(has nothing to do with nationality) and education he's received as a child. |

wells .. i agree and disagree in some ways. It's true that there are significant differences between women in say the HipHop scene and Trance scene. but the fact of the matter is that there are plenty of nice women around who hit up trance parties. the problem is that we're always expecting them in the wrong places. Most of the parties TA's hit up are usually at Guv, and everyone knows that Guv is notorious for packing people inside... and being the 'superclub' of the city, it draws many walks of life, not just the people who are into trance. Now this also includes Hootchies and the like as well as their counterpart Ginos and Conan the Barbarians. All this crowdedness and 'macking' causes 2 things to occur:
1. the hot Hootchie girls become too stuck up and feel that their too good for anything below that of a muscleman.
2. the friendlier laid back women become too uptight and despise any attempt at a normal guy (ie. a T.A.) to even break out a conversation, in which Guv is already a bad place to do that especially with the amount of room you have to move around.
So, what i'm basically trying to say is that there are a lotta women who are into this scene and who want to be apart of the community. Unfortunately places like Guv give us the impression that there aren't any. But the problem also boils down to the environment in which we're looking. I've hit up Nasa DAncepub on numerous occasions and i'd prolly see a higher "hot girl" ratio to patron than that of Guv in a MUCH smaller venue. But the difference is that at places like this, the women are more open and willing to talk, especially since you aren't standing shoulder to shoulder.
So basically, my suggestion is: hit up smaller more intimate parties, 19+ raves, and smaller club events. Yes, it's possible that you can (actually) have more fun than at a Superclub with a Super-DJ. :D |
