well, the first rule of having a usable email account is to not post it anywhere and to not sign up with it anywhere. i get about 25 spam mails per day; 3-4 of them make it to my inbox and the rest go into the spam folder, which you can delete. but that's all cuz those friggin companies are reselling my email to each other, bastards.
my sister, for example, gets 100s of spam mails a day because she used to give her email address to every "fun & greetings" website or whatever. so now if she doesn't clean her mailbox at least once a day, it could get full (she has some large messages saved in it though) and she wouldn't get any more emails until she clears up some space. |

if i use my e-mail address for noticfication from this forum will that result in spam?
i get about the same or less spam as you, in my inbox, so i think i'll stick with hotmail, even though any spam mail annoys me
but i won't give out my address as much |
