Totally accurate DiscoJoe - PVD at Aria would be a disaster a la Tiesto & Oakey. MTLs after hours clubs can't handle the demand for tickets that these DJs bring as they aren't large enough. Forza is a great example as to how things should be setup when these guys come to town.

forza isn't the answer either because it was improvized and badly i must say. the sound was very bad, the place was huge to the amount of people there, the price to get in was expensive and that due mainly because the forum was rented and finally doing a party in a commercial center is just euh unorthodox and weird.

the idea of forza (doing the thing in a big place) was great mais ce n'était pas bien exploité du tout , specially the sound man it sucked ass and in certain places it was affected by the elevator in the middle going up and down , you can imagine the lame "kill-bass" that resulted.

but yeah the idea is cool :)

I have to completely disagree with you. Accept for the awful sound I think it was great. The venue was the perfect size for the amount of people who went. Most of the dance floor was packed for the real party atmosphere but there was room in the back if you needed room to dance and the mezanines were absolutely perfect if you wanted to sit back and relax. It may have been a little unorthodox but it worked. I had no problems with the price either (you pay far more for a two hour hockey game the happens 40 times a year). And the temperature was far more livable than many parties at aria.

You will be able to see June 13 2003 line-up at Aria in 3-4 weeks.
The Formula 1 week-end will just be the most killer line-up I have ever seen in a club in Montreal. Tickets price will be high but capacity will be really low this time. 500-600 people less than Tiësto night, should be just perfect.
