mouahahaha trance energy 2003 is BULL comparing to the line-up we're gonna have :D
RnakR
if it's that big line-up better than TE, why don't ARIA do the event outside, with thousands of people ? that would be the best party EVER EVER EVER :eyes:
ahlamalek
no not outside... you always come back talking about an outside event.

outside is gay cause you walk in the mud and grass and whatnot. i don't know but if Aria wants its name to be recognized worldwide it has to hold its events inside its club... not in lafontaine park ;)

We just don't want to advertise or promote a event 5-6 months in advance! What I will do is announce 1 dj's per months until March!
I will start from the less popular to the most popular!

June 13:
1. Guy Ornadel (UK)
2. February ????
3. March ????

The Formula 1 week-end will just be the most killer line-up I have ever seen in a club in Montreal. Tickets price will be high but capacity will be really low this time. 500-600 people less than Tiësto night, should be just perfect.

why dont you make such an event at another venue other than aria, so we will be able to have room to dance... nothing personal biggy, but i dont believe you when you say that such a huge event will not have as many people as tiesto night did... you've said the same thing for the past few times (i.e. Tiesto and MB), and those nights ended up packed to the brink (main reason why i left after only 1 hour during the Misstress Barbara night)... i mean to have such a successful business equals getting the most profit possible, which also means that it doesnt make sense to not allow entrance to many people just so you could please your regulars...

Montreal longs for such events as love parade, sensation, Trance Energy, Innercity, and so on and so forth... especially since 514 is going down the toilet, but remains alive and well for the wrong reasons (pill-poppers)... but imagine if the really big names like Tiesto, MB, Oakenfold, Picotto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Digweed, etc, would play at venues such as Palais des Congres, Pepsi Forum, even the Bell center... you would sell a lot of tickets, for example 2500, at 50$ each, you would make much more compared to having the DJ play at Aria, forcing you to make such promises and not being able to keep them because you need to make a profit... everyone would be happy, and you would have much heavier pockets...

I know that Aria is such a great success, that you have built from 2 years of hard work... And i believe you dont want to have big events at other venues, because it would seem like having Aria is a waste... But 514 is in the same boat, by having 5-6 big events (which used to draw big names) per year and still having Sona...

Anyways, this is my opinion... I still remain devoted to Aria, which still is the best place in montreal to party to electronic music...

I SECOND THAT !!!!!!:eyes:

that's exactly what i mean !

we diserve those big events !

if 514 can still do events at bell center, ARIA can do some !
Biggy
Well, we are doing Bal en Blanc!

Also for June 13, you will be able to see by yourself how the room will be pack! I don't know what is over pack for you people, but I only think we got 2 over packed night since Aria is open (Tiësto and Paul Oakenfold nights). As for Misstress Barbara, Sasha, Picotto it was perfect for me. The number of people for June 13 will be the same as Sasha night and this is garanty!

I will try to explain something to you, Bell Center is only 7 000 people capacity (this is the maximum) and with all the extra fees (and this huge line-up), it's almost impossible to break even in this venue. People are going to Celebration, Bal en Blanc, cream not only for the dj's but for the name of the event. Exemple, Forza got only 3000 people last year with Tiësto. Also, dj's are asking way more when they play at a larger venue.

Last time Tiësto played Aria, we were 3200 in Aria.

June 13 we will be maximum 2400 so it's 800 less than last December 13. So trust me or not it will be pack but not over pack!
