What are your predictions for 2003? Judging from the "disappointed" thread, most people think 2002 has been a sub-par year. Do you think 2003 is going to be a better year for Trance?
Thoughts, comments...

Thanks :D

i dont think 2002 was "sub-par" so i guess i'll leave it at that
Dumonde Trancer
more techy stuff definatly
Carona
It'll have a different sound that's for sure since Trance is changing genre. I also believe this year has been pretty good. But that's just me

Sincerely, I hope trance producers will realise it's time to change. I mean, I love trance, but its now fallen in that formula:
(beat, buildups, riff, bridge, buildups again, riff again, end). I'd like them to search for new ways to dispose the sound, to dare to be different.... to borrow elements form other genres and turn trance into something even better... and richer :)
Juricimo
yeh like DT said more techy stuff. and more cheese then ever.

there was a lot of pop cheese and then slowly more techno as teh year progressed, PvD and AvB kept it true though,

I'd like to see trance make it into more partied than it did this year. Seems it has been the rise of DnB lately. Although I dont mind DnB all that much. But the trance fans around here have been reduced to a tiny cult of around 6 or 7 ppl and nobody else wants anything to do with it, sigh. Is it time to move on?? Hell no!!! My mind is open to everything, but I miss that entrancing feeling darnit, and im gonna do what I can to bring that back, (which is prolly absolutely nothing, but o well)

My fav is 99/2000 trance. I just don't like all these people leaning toward prog.
