let me be the first to say that IRC is not the most reliable source :P
i really find it doubtful that he would have been rolling... even if it was "accidental"
his water would have tasted so horrible from the e that im sure he wouldnt have taken more than a sip
then theres the fact that e usually takes 30-60 minutes to kick in
and then i would think that he would have enough common sense to let someone know that he was ed up and that he couldnt keep going... cause trust me... you know when you are ed up... and its doubtful he could mix at all while on e
but whatever the case... he had a bad night... and im not going to stop loving his music just because of one bad night |

I just listened to this set, and to say that it doesn't sound like the "regular" van dyk would be an understatement.. Some of the scrathing and silencing were appropiate, and some were totally out of place. I don't know if he was drunk or not, but i liked the "old" one better:)

It seems like this didn't get through to everybody:
That's NOT Paul Van Dyk scratching in Paul Van Dyks set !
It's Westbam, and I find this quite annoying. It's not that the scratching is all bad, but the fact that someone who has already played his set comes up to the turntables and starts scratching someone else's records gets me mad. I think it's very disrespectful to the DJ that is playing.
IMO, Westbam f***ed Paul's set up, and he shouldn't have done that. I didn't see anybody during Westbam's set manipulating his mix, so why is he doing it ? Because he's part of the Organisation behind Mayday ? That's no excuse to me...
Ok, rant-mode off. |

Ok, so he didn't scratch himself.. Clears up something, but still the silencing were quite annoying.. Seemed so out of place. Paul rules anyway so i guess he had a bad day:)
Lol, looks like some people have gone hysterical over this set, thinking it's the end of an era or something..
Peace |
