| I never said MTV was anything great, but it's better than BET (Black Entertainment) or VH1. And yes, Jackass is just about the only good show on there besides Cribs and Tom Green (Sadly I don't think Tom is on anymore). |

the tone and the atmosphere are very adversarial, combative, and gratuitous. Thats the kind of music that fosters this kind of bad attitude and inflated egos.
I don't see that with this subculture, it's totally different.
actually, i'd say roots of hip-hop are much better than the mainstream, make-a-fast-buck rap |

listen guys, I just listened to pvd live at mayday 2000 for the 253th time.
he just turned the volume down 2 times instead of 15 or so in 2001.
he mixed like the whole set was just one song.
he looked relaxed and did not jump like this year.
the last 6 livesets were all superb exept mayday.
he was not nervous. he played for 1.5 million people in berlin, so....
HE WAS INTOXICATED!!!!!!!!!!! |
