| Just wondering if the control range is better on the Pioneer CDJ-1000 or the CDJ-800 on the 1000 the ranges are Ranges of ± 6%, ± 10%, ± 16% and ± 24% and the ranges on the 800 are ± 10% and ± 100% which is prefered by you guys?? |

| i don`t think u need more than ±6%.. unless u`d like 2 mix an ballad with speedcore or sumthin:) |

I dont think you need more than +/- 10%.
Anyone uses +/- 100% ??????? |

| i have my Technics to +15% and I need it. Over 20% you don't really need I would say... |

| well i have the money for the 800...so do you guys think it's better for me to wait to buy the 1000 or will the tempo range on the 800 do?? |
|

| i think u shud go for the 800.. it has basicly the same features as the 1000, but the 1000 has some tricks on it which u`ll prolly never use for mixing.. |

| so the missing tempo ranges on the 800 won't really make a difference?? |

| ±10% should be more than enough.. i never use more than ±6% |
|
|
| DjObscene |
| so ±10% means i hit the ±6% also right? also what are the higher ranges used for?? |
|
|
| mantisnl |
yes.. u hit the 6% also.. u can use 0% till 10% and that means everything between those..
higher pitch is used if one track is very slow.. and the other is very fast.. but usually there aren`t that big differences in trance music so.. |
