What is your Style of Trance? (pg. 4)

I'd have to go with the AvB sound (YAD, Dub/Dust.Wav
+ remixes of other tracks) or the Thrillseekers sound .. Always been 2 of my faves.. |

I like mostly
Uplifting melodic trance (E.G. Ayla style)
Energetic Dutch trance (E.G. Michael Pollen style (Syontone))
Melodic HArd/Energetic European trance (Dumonde)
Hard Trance ( Hennes and cold, Phontos, Scot project)
Hard Techno ( B X R)
would basically sum up the types of trance i like.. i also like softer stuff as in Rank 1, cors fijneman, tiesto and some oakenfold
I will go for progressive @ times too, filterheaz, Bedrock, Sasha etc. |

I think the best track like that recently was Never Look Back- it is so well produced... when i show people whats good in trance recently i ussually show them that tune.:happy2: |

| No one seems to say they like Psy-Trance... ive never felt it personally-- there were a couple of infected mushroom songs that i have enjoyed dancing to.. |

I really love Yahel's sound. Speaking of Psy trance. I love the wacky spaced out synth sounds...especially on Waves of Sound. No other psy trance producer does it for me. I mean..Astral projection, MFG, and Blue Planet Corporation are good but their stuff doesn't do it for me most of the time...it's like it lacks emotion in some way.. My favorite Astral track is Mahadeva...now that one gets me pumped.
I notice a lot of people say "TECH TRANCE"...what is that exactly? My guess would be the Marco V or maybe Mauro Picotto sound...correct me if I'm wrong.:) |

and anything by oliver lieb(has to have the driving basslines and intense buildup uniquely that noone else can copy...maybe michael woods. |
Agreed that is exactly the type of Meloidc uplifitng trance that I have always been into

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I'd say that primarily my style of trance would have to be hard trance. . . .
S.H.O.K.K., Flutlicht, Alphazone etc.
But recently I have begun to appreciate trance more, been listenin to a lot of Ocean Lab, Armin, Chicane, Lolo etc.
I'd say though that my collection of trance would be about 80% hardstyle/hardtrance and then the rest would be trance. |

Ive been dying to hear some new S.H.O.K.K. lately... that rmx of City to City is good- dont really like the original a ton... i hope they come out with a new tune of their own |
