decided to go check out Aquasky at Surface Niteclub downtown .. while heading down on the 404 with the sick music and bass goin bam bam bam in my friend's Protege 5 we see the Toronto city lights and see the flood lights rising from Koolhaus.. and i'm like, it is happening.. damn ..

anyhow, the party at Surface was hype tho .. !! sexy ass drum and bass , jungle women moving their cute bods. boy can they dance ! much better than trance girls imho .. :D

anyhow, so yea the party was hype and got to see my (hopefully still) gf again there .. so all in all had fun , even tho i wasn't at Tiesto..

I was hoping just to be the 1st to post it that's all :clown:

My UN-Tiesto night consisted of being surrounded by extemely cute brunettes at a "All Depeche Mode Fest" at Reverb.
Every song was Depeche Mode

Lots of goths and stuff but most where very cute...
I was pleasantly surprised actually; made for a great nite. :)

Before you guys flame me here .... this review is coming from someone who expected Trance.

THE SETUP .... OUSTANDING !!! GOLD CLUBB SERIES really made the KH look and sound AMAZING !!!

Tiesto set was "OK" tonight.
He spun a lot of progressive and not enuff Trance. Some techno here and there ... but, overall I'm dissapointed with his set. I was expecting to hear more trance, b/c of his set at Aria and the recent track list someone posted. Even though he spun some classic trance track here and there ... I was a little happy.

What a suprise, I never knew a NET meets were that fun ... seriously, NUFF respect goes out to "ALL" the TAs I met tonight. You guys are pretty fun to chill with. We did had a huge group kickin'

YOU BASTARD !!! I was planning on going to AQUASKY tonight, but I had NO ONE to hit it with ... my GF wanted to see Tiesto. Therefore I had no choice but, to HIT the KH.

DAMNNNNNN !!!

Like I said "Tiesto was OK"

Meh...my Un-Tiesto night consisted of some solid funky house @ a local club. Met a buncha people from highschool whom I haven't seen for a few years...it was all good.

DESIDEL bastard!!! I had no clue ther was a jungle party going on in TO...dammit, I'd love to hit one of those...
, at last nightmare, jungle&dnb djs were ripping the place apart, I loved it!! Would you please be so kind and drop me a message on ICQ next time an event like that comes up?!?!?! Biiiaaatch!!!!

Next party is BLA for me, 21st, need some psy/goa in my life, been a while...

Oh yeah, most of my clubing/raving friends went to see Tiesto, but I didn't go cause:

1. It's Guvernment (BAAAaaaaAAALEH!):whip: :whip:
2. ^^^ + it's over-packed on special nights (I like dancing, jumping up&down doesn't count...)
3. I don't like Tiesto THAT much to suffer through the top 2 reasons.
4. Crowd sucks more often than not, no unity! (Big ups to those who think that Tiesto can unite ginos, pimps, gays, pushers, ravers...etc...no disrespect meant to any representatives of those social groups)

Anyway, those are some of the reasons why I didn't go. Hope you people had a blast, gimme some reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your replies will affect me when deciding whether to go to Guv in the future or not...
Nikish
A little note for those who'll start screaming that it was in koolhaus and not guv...same imo...

ok, it is 6am, i cant talk, lost my vioce (at least i can type), I went to Koolhause last night with the fever 38C, flue, and there was even point where i was thinking not going. I did not regert i went...

Tiesto is Tiesto (His magik does it!!!!!!!!!!), there was not many special moments and the reason for me to complain was not Tiesto, but the ing sound system, 50 - 120 hz bass was overloading the air, i coun't hear much of the songs. BTW, it looked like one of the amps tripped cos rear speakers (tweeters) were quite for a while.

When Tiesto stopped his mix (i was too far couldn't see why), looks like it got back to normal and THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT WAS URBAN TRAIN ( and the song before it)!!!Is sounded awesome, it was probably the only song where I heard the tune. I actually saw the TUNE!! poster too... Die Another Day was amazing but once bass line kicked in, i couldn't hear the actual melody, in the breaks it was awesome, there were some other new tracks that were pretty good to me. Most of the staff u can hear from live @ oslo radio - dec 6th set.

It wasn't packed, I think it was pretty good, on the back we had some fresh air comming through emergency doors, the crowd was ok, c'mon, if you compare it with guv night, the crowd was very europian like, there were many nice gils, and well, the gino's, don't bother me much, i think Gino's are just part of euro culture (all the videos i saw from any kind of euro TRANCE SESSION, there were gino's just like here, wet, shirtless, overpamped. They were so polite that night, maybe cos the party was $50(big ppl are invited,lol))... Koolhaus is the right place to fit 3000 peeps.

Met TA's as usual, i hope TATGIRL post some pics from the night...

Ok, there were some ppl in the line up that were halarious. "I hope this Piesto, thats right, Piesto spins some r & b tonight. The guy looked Eminem like, lol, i saw him in the club later on, he was dissapointed, no Hip-Hop. 50 bucks in the air. There were actually the group of them, they probably were expecting that that balck dude after Tiesto would spin some CRAP, well, he span even harder then Verwest. It didn't sound bad at all. I wish I saw guys face after party.

Ok, another joke, the asian dude next to me asked me like 5 times "Is this tiesto spinning yet??? (U know every time we cheered, he thought the amn showed up, i guess he wanted to see him badly)". "No it is Luke Fair kid", how da did he get in there, he was like 3'3.

P.S. I have a feeling i am getting to old for the parties like this. Damn, i was so ing tired. Well, probably cos i am sick...

OK, i am going to bad, need some sleep
:o

arek
with no expecations, i had a great time.

at the end of the set tiesto threw his headphones into the crowd.
shook a few hands and signed our little TUNE flyer that is now completed in all it's glory with signatures of

AVB.PVD.FERRY & TIESTO.
