| Saturday I spun at a show with a bunch of bands, and I didn't play trance (but I'm not a trance DJ, so...). I usually play techno/house, but I played jungle that night, and I threw in "Mandy" by Barry Manilow, and it was hilarious. Throw in songs that they might know (even just the acapella), for good measure. That's just my two cents. |

what i was thinking about doing is to get the best loudest pumping trance tracks (not cheese...thats the last thing i would turn to) and get them into it by making it an enjoyable time by mixing them and making it sound good! i think that the people need sumtin loud and pumping...but not cheese!!!

i want to play only trance and nothing but trance cuz thats what i do, im not gonna play rap and other ...thats for the other djs to do. i want to get the best trance that both ravers and regular people would like and mix it into the best possible sounding set ever!! which would take alot of practice and testing. i would probably get regular people at my school to listen to a mix that i made and see if they like it or not...thats the only way to find out before the actual date.

| well here in the US all u can just throw at them is that mainstream/cheesey dance stuff or that overplayed trance cause thats all they hear or know. :o |
