hahahah my dad always refers to pants as "trousers" and i always make fun of him...he has spent a lot of time in UK though so i'm sure the lingo rubbed off on him and he's trying to be cool:stongue:

i call them pants. pants being anything long...anything besides shorts. i also call them "slacks"....like if they are the kind you wear with a suit and tie. anything denim and long is "jeans"...hahah but it's probably the same for jeans in uk.

My grandma says "slacks"....

I tend to shy away from that term :D good old english "Trousers" for me.

Shorts is short for Short Trousers

anything longer than that therefore should be trousers ;)

Pants is underwear :p
