I think you mean Guy Ornadel :)

But I have to agree with PointyDC, Paul van Dyk shouldn't have touched the original.

well, I love original of wavy gravy, but for a Club Environemt, I rather hear PvD MIX since it r0X!

Original is more chillout for ending a set of for Prog dj`s, but for someone like Paul, it just doesn`t fit his sets at all. He played it a few times and I guess that`s why he remixed, to fit his sets! :p

Then I rather call it pvd edit...

i didnt like the rework...listen closely to it and u can hear when the break comes that the original bassline pops in...it should stay unreleased becuase no one needs it...jus PvD...u should try the Piece Process bootleg if u want a more mixable version:)

WTF :whip: wavy gravy is the BOMB! :clown:
!_PeTrUs_!
Its not a Remix, its just some edit.

And, I'm sorry to say, its always a edit with PvD!

what do you mean? that pvd has no original stuff or that pvd is not good at remixing? (keep in mind that it's not an aproppriate thread to talk about this subject...) :D

pvd uses NO original bassline in all of his mixes. as it seems, you don't know about pvd

i'm sorry, but i'll have to agree...i don't think PVD fits to remix artists like sasha.<<< no offense!

PvD flame perhaps... and yeah, it's got old

sasha's original version is sweet. i would just like to say that i dont think its fair to say pvd cant remix people like sasha. his production skills and remixes are some of the best "trance" out there. if he wanted to do a remix he could...but the man has good taste and knows a good song, which the original is. he just gave it a new groove to fit his own sets, but it stays close to the original. i must say, the first time i heard his version (live at the roxy in ny last month), it definitely had packed floor bouncing!

so i take it u love him becuz he cant be original for then?...listen closly to some of his stuff and he does have some original basslines in his stuff..its not always the same...besides...i was talkin bout wavy gravy...he has his own bassline werkin...then the break comes and u can tell all he did was blop the original right on there...
