No offense - the original mix plays at something like 140 BPM - thats crazy speed for breakbeat, and more than above average for trance. Its ING lush. The PVD rework is very well done - it does away with the breakbeat and turns the song into a more mixable / dancable 4/4 beat. Both version are sweet. It isn't always about pitching songs up to +8 and inducing seizures. The melody can't even be touched. Solid Gold.

Original version is very beautiful; but you might not hear it @ the club at all...
PvD just added the bassline, nothing more. |

It's alright mate. :) Paul's rework is the only one I play in my livesets. It's crazy to drop Wavy Gravy Original @ 2 am and not get flamed by the dancefloor.
But I would call it Paul van Dyk Edit/Rework ... :) |
