Playing CS in XP

Hey Hi ! What's up dudes ! :)
I was really bored so i decided to install cs. But to my surprise when I want to play, just after I make a shot, the game is closed and I am back in winxp.
I cant figure why this happens, considering I've been to a cyber where all the machines are under xp and cs works properly.
Do I have to install a special patch or another version ???
I want to plaaaaaaay 1 :) Aajajajaja swgasgf

| It's the Half-Life game Engine. Have you installed the latest upgrade patch? |

| cs runs fine under XP on mine. some things to check are that you have the latest video card drivers from ati or nvidia and if using a VIA chipset motherboard install the latest VIA 4-in-1 drivers as well. |

Wonder if you know, according to what both said in the thread two things:
01. Where to get the latest drivers for Voodoo 3 2000 [I believe there aren't making new ones, but despite this I have the original ones so maybe I can update them to a newerm version].
02. Where I can download the latest patch to fix the bugs ?. I really want to play this ame. I love it.

So answer this...
Why while time pass by, more and more teams like SK.swe, eoL,Time9 and GoL appears?
For me it's not overplayed |

| CS ran the best on XP for my machine... 2k isn't bad, but i noticed the difference right away... |

Who gives a ? So alot of people play it that dosent make the game ty. If you like playing it then why not? :) |
