I am only beginning the thread. Too damn tired to say much except Ferry AND Kid are both sweethearts. I couldn't believe the nice little things they said, especially Kid. Seeing all the TAs was great! I'll post more later. Hope everyone got home ok. Happy birthday again, Daniela!

Ok, now that I have a few hours of sleep, let's see how I remember the night.
My friend and I got there around midnight-ish and saw Chris (sot) on line so we jumped in with him in order to escape a few extra minutes of the frigid air. Someone said Ferry was already on and I was upset that I couldn't get in the door any faster. However, once we were in the club, Ferry WASN'T on and all was well.
The club wasn't packed at all and there was plenty of room to move around. I saw Matt (yayyy!), kid nyce, John and Daniela, to name a few. There were lots of TAs out.
I am not sure what time it was when Ferry finally came on. 1? 2? We were all on the stage screaming...and the damn bouncers/security guys were JERKS!! they wouldn't even let you step off the stage! Now, any of you who have seen me at clubs know I have to get as close to the DJ as possible. so this was NOT acceptable. Therefore, my gf and I went up in the DJ booth. I admit, I was totally excited about it. I was talking to Kid Vicious and I didn't even know it was him. For like a half hour. I had no idea..that's how clueless I am. He's really cool and totally laid back. Ferry as well. They told me that all TAs have to go to Ultra and support Ferry. I think we can do that. :)
All in all, the vibe was great and I had a wonderful time. As far as the music goes...(matt-tracklist?) Ferry dropped some great tracks and I loved his mixing. I must admit that there were a lot of songs I couldn't ID but I KNEW them. Totally annoying. Didn't matter though. Ferry and Kid were great and seeing all the TAs was so much fun. Thanks, everyone, for making my night so special. :D I hope to see you all at Marco!

ferry & kid vicious owneeeeeeeeed..i got in at like 12 buttt i had to wait for alex (trancer) to get in so i waited in the lobby for a solid 1hr and 15 mina and finally he came in, than we had to wait on the security line, that had to be the worst security check i ever been through, it was like 10x worse than exit's. but eventually we got in at around 2, i didn't even get my coat checked, i just kept it rapped around my weist. but overall, ferry & kid vicious were really good, mixing wise and track wise.

i had a great time. people there were kinda jerky tho. next time i'll stay on the stage cause everytime i was there, the people were so nice. anyway, nice meeting kidnyce and one other TA. i forget the name. you were wearing a home game jets jersey. nice meeting you! and Isaac, always a pleasure. next time, i'll be by myself, so hopefully i'll be able to stay till the end. btw, waiting on line from 1 until 2:30 is no fun, but once i got inside, the fun began. first track i remember ferry dropping that i knew was Green Martian - Wizardry. well, theat's about it. i'll add the few tracks i remember to sot's list. wow... i can only remember 2 besides a few that were already said. and that's on no drugs :eyespop:

| had a great time, great seeing everyone there. ill post pics tomorrow i hope. ferry is a really great guy, no attitude, and really down to earth. i asked him to play veracocha - carte blanche before he started his set. he said it is one of his favorite oldies. i remember he played it at exit last time too. well, im going to marco v tonight, hope to see some of you there. and once again, happy bday daniela. |

i could've heard kid's entire set but noooo lol anyways it ok... i dont care..

| whooooooooops. i totally forgot about one of the coolest things thats ever happened while i was at a club. it was towards the end so it was mainly a 'ferry' crowd and he dropped Eon - Pocket Damage. then there was that HUGE pause before the techy beat drops. and everyone started clapping. then people started banging on the speakers. everyone just went nuts. that was one of the coolest things i've ever seen. by that time, i was tired but ferry basically said 'don't be a and DANCE!!' by dropping that. i totally ing died. |
