Hi guys,
Anybody found a radio station in our area that plays trance music? I am talking about regular radio, not that XM or Sirius radio stuff.
Thanks, :D

If you are in the Hollywood/Silverlake/Los Feliz areas you should check out 100.7 - nonstop dance mixes with no talking or commercials.
The worse the weather, the better it comes in. When the weather is clear some awful San Diego station cuts it off (they broadcast out of TJ so they use have a really powerful transmitter). |

Wow! I live in the Tujunga area, it's near Glendale and La-Crescenta. I was able to listen to the station on the 210 freeway, and in parts of Glendale. It's awesome, I wish they would have a stronger signal to this area.
Thanks again.

I didn't know it came in up there. That's good news for when I need to take the 210. I live in Hollywood and commute to downtown so it makes driving the 101 parking lot not as bad as it could be since my cd player died.

Yeah, I heard a great song on there. I posted a question about in the unknown tracks forum. I managed to write down some of the lyrics while driving. It's a male voice, saying "Aboard this ship, to be discovered while we take our trip. The future is here....." Then it goes into an awesome bass line.
They also played another song that was cool.
Thanks again for the station,

Humm.. I live in Glendale and as I'm trying to listening to that station right now it's some sort of country rock crap (KHAY)... funny thing is I had my stero's antana in my hand and when I moved to the middel of my room I started to hear some cool bass beats but it went away after a few seconds. Oh well .. I guess there is always Digitally Imported when I'm home .. on the road is a different story !!

Where do you live in Glendale? The station worked decent for me on the 210 freeway. Then it worked for me in Glendale, in the area around Chevy Chase/San Fernando. That general area, all the way to the galleria, then it started to break up.

It really depends on the weather. Some days it is the station is crystal clear at home, other days it is the awful SD station. Some days depending on where I stand in my room the station fades in and out. I've had the same deal where touching the radio it came in fine and once I let go the SD station took over. It has been like this for the past 3 years. On the off days I just listen to the dance station on DirecTV, which is ok. Wait until the next rain storm (cuz we get so many of them in Los Angeles) and it should come in great.
