The Phat Pant debate
View this Thread in Original format
Euphorica@AUS
Ok here comes the phat pant debate. Personally i cant stand the sight of the pants. It all came to a head the other day at work when a clown or i though he was came in with a visor and those big ass phat pants. I asked "DOn't u feel embarassed wearing those things." Na dude he goes these are da bomb. I pity da f00l. ANywayz the question is phat pants or no phat pants. Personally i think every club in melbounre should have a no phat pants policy. Long Live the muzzas!!!!!!!!!!

P.s straight denim i can handle but when theres fur, fluro colours stars etc it getting beyond a joke.

:)

did you guys stop to think that the perhaps the main reason why "these" people choose to wear them, is because they actually like wearing them.

to say you wanna ostracize a certain group of people (of the dance community nontheless) for wearing a certain item of clothing is just absurd.

yes i wear phat pants (ONLY at clubs and events) and yes just like you, i like to have a good time while i'm at these places. Why should a person's right to have a good nite out be jeopardized by something as trivial as oversized or colourful pants.

please learn to become more tolerant and maybe, just maybe, you mite learn to accept people for who they really are. :)

btw for those thinking "wtf are phat pants?", it's a melbourne thing (i think) and they look a little something like this:

or even

and here's one on a chicky babe

:) :p ;) :p :)

because they like to be outcasted in society.

such a person might very well be in comfort, such a person very well has issues.

a rebellious nature in this day and age will be frowned upon.

I blame RAP MUSIC =lol= :happy2: :happy2: :D

I quite like phat pants, but only if they're fairly understated. None of this fur rubbish :). If they didn't cost $140 for a pair, I'd already own some. *ducks head*

Why pay $140 for "phat pants" when u can spend less on a good quality pair of levi's which can be worn (pretty much) anywhere and everywhere.

TranceBunnY: Well i quite like the ones in your pics! :-) but then again i have nothing against floro stuff it's just the amazingly conformist ones who all where exactly the same phat pants with those rope bits on the butt...arrg. But i wearing pants with zips down the sides and they are made out of shiny green microfiber, everyone calls them my space pants, and i'm not going clubbing or anything! :-)
