2 days!
imo roxy sucks. but it seems to be big enough to hold a paul van dyk crowd, so i can't complain too much. guess i'm just spoiled by the wonderful clubs in toronto/montreal that are not only BIG enough to hold a crowd, they have REAL lights and lasers, GREAT sound, and are just 100% better than anything nyc currently has to offer.
paul van dyk at aria is the party to go to. oops, who has tickets already? :p
alas, only 2 MORE DAYS till i see paul again.

In fact I am gonna buy the tickets in couple of days for PVD @ Aria:) As far as I am concerned the music and the vibe are the most important thing. I'd rather go to the club with no lights and lasers, but with PVD in it, than to Guvernment, even if John Digweed would be playing there that night (personal preference).
I cant wait to see Roxy, I was told that it's Pual's fauvorite place in North America to play, so my expectations for the party and music are big:)
Does anybody know if there are still tickets to friday event, and will they be available at the door? Just turned out that two of my friends wanted to go last minute, and there is no way u can get tickets in Canada in couple of days, UPS does not work here...
And how would I get to Roxy from bus terminal? Is it better to take a cab or subway? And if subway, what station is Roxy at?

did he really say roxy's his favourite? that's pretty surprising...
take the 1/9 from penn to 18th street then walk towards the hudson/west... or just walk to 18th.. close enough...
there should still be tickets if you get there early enough.. don't even try if you're going later that 12:30/1 though.... |

good to see you are going to make it!
you should be able to purchase tix at the door...but i'd buy them online. you can pick them up at will call, even if you're coming from canada. i always do that when i'm going to an event at guv, and am purchasing will call tix for friday night too.
warning: don't have big expectations for the night. roxy is like a huge roller skating rink with speakers. i thought his fave place in the states was space in miami anyhow. roxy is a dump and a large bunch of the crowd belong in the dump. ooooooo. that was mean!:stongue:
