And how would I get to Roxy from bus terminal? Is it better to take a cab or subway? And if subway, what station is Roxy at?
Soooo many questions, thanks in advance for any answers ;) |
assuming that you'd arrive at the Port authority bus terminus (where Greyhound etc. drop u off), it would be easy to take the subway. There is a station located beneath the bus terminus.
You need to buy a ticket ($1.5) and take the A,C or E trains (express or local doesn't matter) in the downtown direction and get off at 14th street. Then you walk west on 14th till u hit 10th ave and head north on that. When u get to 18th street, Roxy will be west of you, between 10th and 11th ave

Ok, since this is PvD thread, I wanted to share this with you guys.
I went to the gym with my brother tonight and we were talking about pvd on the way. What time we were leaving, what we wanted to hear, blah blah blah. We were wondering how packed it would be and discussin how pvd is becoming more GLOBAL as his dvd states.
So we get to the gym (GOLD's in Deer Park, NY) and I walk in to hear ANIMATION blasting through the gym! They were playing GLOBAL!! CD & DVD. All the tvs were showing it and it was so loud! Everyone was grinning and working out like never before. I got this burst of energy out of nowhere and had a great workout! I was so damn impressed that my own gym full of meatheads would play GLOBAL.
I think it is a good sign. :D |

yeah it is semi-close to chinatown but still a good couple or so subway stops away.
canal street is awful to drive on- i know i am on canal street because of the way my car feels, i do not need to check the street signs at that point.
but still roxy is in the meat-packing district and china town is well chinatown. youu have the village inbetween there, so there is some distance, hope i am making sense to you |
