there used to be a definite difference between eurodance and trance but is it just me or is the line fading. I cant get the song Tremble by Marc et Claude out of my head. Also, is ATC trance or Eurodance.
A lot of people like ATB but Paul Van Dyk hates his music but I consider Paul Van Dyk trance while ATB is more eurodance.
with all the vocal trance songs last year its getting hard to tell the difference.
Any thoughts??

as long as they sounds good!

Mmmmh, people who like vocal trance don't like the others call it eurodance but i'm agree with you, there isn't so much difference...

In 1994, trance while already exist, why makes 1994's Jam&Spoon "Right In The Night" eurodance and songs like Delerium "Silence" or Lange "Don't Think it Feel It" trance ?

There's a huge difference. The thing is that you're mixing up commercial cheesy euro trance with eurodance itself, they are related, but it's not the same thing.

If you want to understand this check out the original version of Klea-Tic Toc and then the Magik Muzik remix. Or better yet, the original of Vengaboys-Kiss and then the Airscape remix.

yes it seems the same with eurotrance and trance coz everything getting pretty cheesey. sad but true.

I agree! But it's definitely a whole different genre, don't you think? The Airscape remix is obviously trance, while the original is definitely not!

And the Airscape remix is very cheesy in that great 99 kind of way that I still love, but that is now part of past history.

i kinda like eurodance but the newer vocal trance isn't as good as before...

ATC is eurodance, the producer was the lead singer for U96. Marc et Claude doesn't play strictly euro, only his big hits are. ATB is just plain wierd, I absolutely can not stand his older stuff, newer stuff isn't too bad, but there's too much damn disco sounding schit on there, I can see why PVD hates his stuff. PVD is definitely trance, listen to Out There & Back, pure trance, his older stuff is a bit too boring for me though, but it doesn't have the disco influences of ATB; yeech.

The vocal trance songs these days sound more like eurodance, because the producers have connections to eurodance producers, or they were once eurodance producers. (Kate Ryan, Noemi for ex.) I like this style of eurodance, adds a breath of fresh air to the stupid bubblegum crap euro liked to put out in the late 90's after the crash of 96.

Well, in the case of their megahit "Around the World," the producer was the Russian group "Ruki Vverh" ("Hands Up"). ATC simply licensed the song from them.

Have you heard ATB's livesets? They're much different from his productions! He plays real bangin' NRG-Trance, not those slow floaty tunes. As for PvD - well, I hate his stuff.

I really like Noemi, especially "In My Dreams." "Y.O.U." is also pretty good.

what exactly is eurotrance?
Is it trance from Poland and Russia?
Paul Van Dyk and ATB are both from Germany so you can compare their music.

Eurotrance is the most cheesiest side of trance, it's almost dance : Alice Deejay, Fragma, Milk Inc...
It's not a question of country.
