SARS? what the hell! you guys in toronto get many big ticket dj's there anyways, far more than we do here in Seattle, so i dont feel sorry at all :p

Yep yep, he played the Vandit club mix then PVD club mix after Butterfly. Too bad he didn't play PVD - Namistai.....anyway that NU NRG's remix of For an angel was pretty good! Once JM emails me i will post the tracklisting!

Great great night, had a blast.

Tried to find JM (Yellow Hat) but never could track ya down :(

Here are my thoughts:

+ For the venue, great job w/ security, crowd control, bars, etc. etc. etc. Great job

+/- For decorations, what was there was effectives (those strobes were SO bright) but I felt like the middle to the back of the venue was lacking. The front was great though.

+ Chad's set, incredible, well done. Loved hearing Paul Jackson - The Push (Main Mix) at the end, so moody :)

+/- For PVD. This was my 3rd time seeing him and I just felt something was lacking. Very solid overall but just didnt seem to have the energy etc. that I expected from past shows. Very good overall though. Ended WAY too early

+ For the crowd, everyone was having a blast, smiles all around, very cool people both 21+ and 18+

- Finish time :( PVD didnt come on until almost midnight and stopped at 2:15 ?????? Heard the 3rd turntable broke too, too bad.

Anyway, great night, anxious for a tracklist, hope all had fun.

hey Anubis i was towards the front close to the stage, on the left side. i met up with deejay2002 when he got there, and inatrance and Bondor towards the end, as i moved closer towards the middle front.

yeah what's the deal with PvD getting there @ 12 ???

hehe loved the last track that Chad put on, everybody was like WTF! i was like "MORE MORE prog/tribal!!!"

I think it was "PvD vs Marco V - For a Revolt" not "For an Angel (Nu Nrg Remix."

My summary:
Chad Owen sounded like he was giving PvD a run for his money. He played 90 straight minutes of power trance (think Dumonde) which put the crowd in a frenzy, and then moved towards a little prog/tribal(??). Huge ups and huge breakdowns, with people clapping to fill in when the bass drums went silent. Some absolutely phat breakbeats complemented huge trance synths too. The highpoint of Federal's set was when he laid down GTR - Mistral with heavy bass at a fast pace. I went absolute nuts.
A little after midnight, the world's best DJ casually sauntered onto the stage behind Federal. They shook hands and then Federal bowed before PvD. PvD's first track kept the heavy hitting hardtrance attitude of federal. There was a sudden cease in the beat, a female vocal of "I know you want me" and then the beat came slamming back. I must ID this tune.

During most of the set, PvD was his usual stoic crowd pleaser, offering an occasional smile that drove us all nuts.
His outfit was fabulous yet simple, as usual for the master of fashion.
Michelle Nols - Time rules.
PvD honoring the request for Emerge rules.
PvD smiling at you rules.
PvD signing stuff afterwards rules.

Downsides:
Some moron was blowing his whistle for about 20 minutes
I spent too much energy dancing to DJ Federal, and so I was dead for the last half hour of PvD's set.
