I spent too much energy dancing to DJ Federal, and so I was dead for the last half hour of PvD's set.

+ For the venue, great job w/ security, crowd control, bars, etc. etc. etc. Great job

I agree... thought the inclining surface of the the floor made my ankles soring today. And it was difficult to keep balance of while jumping..

I had a blast too. It was my first time I saw PvD live and I couldn't believe my eyes that it was him here in Seattle...

Great job, PvD!!!!

oh yeah the security was cool. wonder if there were a lot of underagers who "borrowed" their 21+ friends' bracelets, pasted with gum on the bottom so they'd stay and went for alcohol:D

hehe

i would've done that if i was underage and went with 21+ friends!

my ankles hurt like hell......jumping up and down on a slanted floor is not a good idea :( I think my vertical jump is like 30 something so i better just bend my knees next time ;)
JM

So there was at least one photographer at the event, do we have any pictures? Any posted on the internet? I wasn't wise enough to bring a camera myself.

heh, i have tons of good pics but they are in hard copy from a one time single use camera, so that means i'd have to scan and then post, and that all is just a hassle....

i just dont have time to do all that, so i'll let dj2002 post the ones he's got.

Sandman (The 1st DJ of the night) posted this at NWTEKNO, thought the last bit about Paul and the CDs was interesting:

Sandman Quote from www.nwtekno.org

"Wow what a fun night. It was nice to see so many people all in one place dancing to good music. Granted everything was not perfect... ie: my records getting stolen a week prior, having to play on that crazy mixer, and PVD coming in a little late...but overall the night was magical. I talked to more happy people than I could count. Chad your set was killer nice job! Oh yeah, and thanks for the drink. PVD did have some problems...they stemed from the fact that the DJ booth was sitting directly on the stagewhen it really should be flown with a sound system that produces that much bass. (NGT will be flying the DJ booth from now on starting with the Groove Armada show) .... During Paul's third record he started getting mad bass feedback. I think the soundguy turned up the master volume a notch and then the low end started to hum. Nobody's fault just one of those classic vinyl/stlus feedback problems. He was a little disapointed, and instead of fighting the feedback he chose to mix only CDs. This may explain his track selection and his choice to end at 2:15. All in all, I think the guy did a phenomenal job. "
