DJ Groove (cheese trance)
DJ Fonar (progg/trance)

Eugene no offence dude, but Russki Razmer = trance? It's more like there a few trance tracks here and their but it's more of pop music more than anything.

Yeah definetly check out RadioTrance most of the stuff available is a bit date but still really good, you can download alot of stuff from http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/165/radiotrancemp3.html also check out Cosmonaut (one half of RadioTrance) http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/158/ed_cosmonaut.html

lol. actually, they went from producing decent dance music to producing a terrible mix of pop & house stuff. pop house. lol!

I never said it was far from cheese :p If malish is not house (at its cheesiest), I don't know what it is: it's not trance, definately :)

so does Sekventziya (Sequencia? help me out here, how do they translate themselves to english)

I don't think they would really translate their names into English... KOCMOHABTuKA would be Kosmonavtika, I guess :)

He also produces hard(?) house, dream house, funky house (gotta love "otvet", hehe), breakbeat, atmospheric drum'n'bass... in fact, he has a little problem with style :D I have one mix-CD and he managed to play Basement Jaxx and Paul Van Dyk in the very same set :p

ij would suppose so too, but, apparently, Kosmonavtika also names themselves as Cosmonautica

heh, you misquoted me, that was posted by trancearmada, but anyway - to fully appreciate "otvet," you gotta realize the lyrics and the pop-groups they're talking about. Groove (or Gruv) basically makes fun of mainstream tracks in a hilarious way. anyway, he's got some pretty nice mixes. so does dj fonar (his gravitation cd is amazing). i also have a set from dj kolya - progressive house mix, it's very good. i'd love to share it somehow, only i'm on 56k.

True... when I heard it, I already knew who "Virus", "Demo" and "Detsl" were, so I found it funny: my favourite part is when that rapper starts talking to the DJ asking for Detsl... yo :D

Maybe because the English word for "KOCMOHABT" is Cosmonaut :conf:

and the other two chicks speak in a very squeeky Moscowian accent... lol!

nice to see someone who knows so much about russian music :p :D

Yeah, I've already heard it. Cosmonaut = most famous DJ in Estonia?
Maaz
If Cosmonaut is not the most famous DJ in Estonia, he sure is the most famous Estonian DJ worlwide ;)

It's a shame I couldn't really enjoy this part because I don't know much about Russian accents and since I hear mostly the Moscowian pronounce, it became the "standard Russian" for me :) Have you ever seen the video? It's funny too: those girls are hilarious with their body-guards and stuff :p

Also, there's another remix in the single called "DJ Gruv - Otvet (CJ Chopa mix)", that's the funniest one... total non-sense :D

And yes, I love Russian (+ Estonian and Ukrainian) Electronic music :tongue2
