OMFGGGGGGGGGGGGG WHat happened last night at was not REAL!!!

At 2:30 on the dot Mat stepped onto the phazon decks..... Mat hardwick~~"I am going to destroy ny !!!! But his plan failed and he took us into heavan. Straight up no fluff cheese Pure raw Trance. WE then hear the announcer ~ WElcome Gatecrashers resident Matt Hardwick He opened up with a hard house song just to drive in the point that he was coming to conquor. AFter he worked in a crap load of new and old choons. The moment of the night me and ian are talking ...... Ian? what track is this..... I dont know but it Rocks!!!! hahahahahha My mind is a bit shotty right now but as soon as it calms down I will put up a few tracks I remember. Mat hardwick was nice enough to talk to me for a min b4 his set. This guy is a class of his own. Besides being an amazing performer he is approachable and friendly. He said that ny would be seeing him again :). This set tops pvd @ arc without a Doubt! This was actally one of the best sets I have ever heard from any dj. I was happy some of you got a chance to meet my sis genny and some of my freinds. This is my original crew from tunnel/ twilo days :)

When you have a picture of somthing in your mind but it's to hard to grasp the concept in meager words, that was the theme of the night !

last night was one of the greatest trance nights i've had. great tracks after great tracks. when he played Tilt - Invisible, my night was complete. Great to see the usual suspects, and John, your sis Genny was cool. Congrats to Arnie (i think) for the Gatecrasher T shirt, we flipped a coin for it. There is hope yet for Arc, bigger crowd than the past few times i've been there. I'm sure someone will cover the track list, too many great tracks to list here.

Glad u got to experience the same thing we did in Toronto the nite before. I'm sure everyone who missed it is kicking themselves (as they should!). I heard you guys had a longer set length there- lucky bastards!!! I can't wait til he comes back again.

Nat,

Hopefully we'll have him back in TO in the summertime for sure, so hopefully he'll stop over in NYC for you NYC peeps again!

He was beyond amazing in Toronto on Friday!!!

Matt Hardwick is the Man! I walked in there with really high expectations and actually walked out overly impressed. He tore that place up the entire 3 hours he was on. At least I think it was 3. Hardwick progressed right into the openers set and the closing Dj progressed right into Hardwick's set. I didn't even know Hardwick was off until 45 minutes after he walked off stage. The entire night was hard uplifting trance. Out of like 35 songs I remember being bored with 1. He started with a few of those unknowns that John '00' Flemming played at the start of his set a few weeks ago. Then went into some real epic . It was wild!! My only complaint is I think the bass was too high. It drowned out some of the melody. The closing Dj was really good. I'm not sure if he was Bill Patrick or Eddie Bang. He kept the club moving with a hard progressive vibe, which would keep you on the dancefloor if you had any energy left.

Ok, lets see. A Tracklisting in no paticular order:

(Viframa) - Cristalle (Katana's Intro Mix)
(Sonorous) - Protonic (Ronski Speed Mix)
(Hemstock & Jennings) - Rendezvous (Promo)
(Oceanlab) - Beautiful Together (Signum Remix)
(Midway) - Inca
(Solar Stone) - Solarcoaster (Midway Remix)
(Gtr) - Flood Control
(Sun Decade) - I'm Alone (Micro De Govia Vocal Dub)
(Lolo) - Melody (Original Mix)
(Kid Vicious) - Proceed
(Dj Vic) - In The End
(Armin Van Buuren) - Sunspot (DCML Remix)
(Dream) - Get Over (Flutlicht Vocal Mix)
(Jan Johnston) - Calling Your Name (Neo & Farina Remix)

(Ilo) - At the End (Might have been after Hardwick)
(D&A vs A.P) - Pure NRG (I heard something similar to this before the guy with the mike came on)

I was definitely impressed with Hardwick. I can't wait for someone to post a tracklist because that will clearly SHOW the journey he took us on.

What happened to all of you TAs??? For once I stayed late, and by 7am I didn't see any TAs in the place - true the real deal was over. The interesting point of the night was my realization that as much as I loved the trance Matt played at the beginning of his set, I got way more into the groove with the tracks he was ending with. ARGH! tracklist. (EDIT: refer to above!!)

Great seeing Lunasea, Tranceyguynyc, Kid Nyce, Pyro, Highmay....oh you guys know who you are! There were lots of Tas out, always representing the crowd right in front of the DJ booth.

Last night was a blast. Thanks to Lunasea's friend for schooling me!

See you all @ the next one!

OH but P.S! John, this set better than PvD???? I disagree. Totally different and not on the same level, in my humble opinion. We'll talk on February 22nd about this. :D :D

CALLING YOUR NAME!!!!! I just remembered...in the words of f0x, OMFG, I diEd so HARD!!!!!

wow. last night was intense. It was nice to hear some good quality trance in NYC. Matt's set was pure energy. He had my peeps and I dancing non-stop. Highlite of my night--Matt played Andy Hunter-Amazing!!:eyes: :eyes: siccckkkkkkkkk..

Too bad his set ended early(pretty sure it ended with "at the end". All in all, a great night. Now, on to some PvD..
