You're "German" then :) If your parents have German blood, you're German blooded as well (even though culturally you're Canadian, since that's the place I believe you grew up).
That's the problem: despite of the heritage, the culture is also important to define someone's nationality. Let's suppose I was born in Papua Nova Guinea and I moved to Brazil when I was 5 months old. I grew up here, I was in touch with Brazilian culture all this long so, no matter what my parents taught me, I'll be influenced by this new culture. Therefore, if I wanted to, I could consider myself Brazilian (culturally) OR Papua Nova Guinean (genetically).
It's a complicated issue :D |

i dunno dont know you roots :)
if one of your parents are canadien, or one of their parents (grand parents) are canadien, that makes you part canadian, but if their all german that makes you german... but i dont know how far back you go...
i would say 100% german or german-candian based on how strongly you feel about canada
I was borned in denmark, my whole family is danish, i lived in belgium for 7 year, but i dont consider myself part belgien or anything. |

no matter where u live u can trace ur geneoly back to someplace different..if u trace it back far enough supposedly we are all african. i think u need to take into consideration ur body's characteristics...i.e. im a hairy f*ck..u could braid the hair on my legs..i also have dark hair, eyes and olivish skin..so i take after the southern instead of the northern italian side of my family.....i dont look english and i dont look native american..
when some one asks me what i am..i say italian..never american..even though i truely have the right to say that i am american since i am part seneca tribe...native americans are the only true americans...the rest of you thieves who stole the land and put up mini malls lol :) |

I was born in the states and live here but my whole family is from greece.. I am the odd one i guess!!!! so who wants to do the math and figure out how much percent i am!!!!! |

And, there's no such thing as Canadian, Canadians are either English, Scottish, Irish or French descendant. With lots of German, Italians, and Ukranian from the 19th century! |
