Every Thursday @ Zen Lounge - 526 Queen St West - 19+ event
Main Room: DJ Lazarus - ebm, futurepop, retro, electronica
Back Room: DJ Phink - psy trance & electro

Here is what to expect over the next few of weeks.
Jan 23 - pre-launch night
Jan 30 - New sound system @ Zen Lounge - still pre launch - backroom guest DJ
Feb 6 - pre-launch night - back room guest DJ
Feb 13 - *GRAND OPENING* - win a trip or other cool prize
You may be asking why so many pre-launch nights prior to the Grand Opening?. I just want the official opening to run as smoothly as possible with sound, lighting, DJing, staffing, etc. Finding the right groove takes a bit of time. Also I am trying to make arrangements with a sponsor to giveaway a cool trip as a prize. Nice, eh? Phink will be making arrangements to have guest DJ's playing psy trance with him. I will keep this list updated when I find out who they are.
Why come to Zen on Thursdays?
1. No Cover
2. Cheaper booze than anywhere else. ($2.50 domestic beer)
3. 2 DJ's - 2 sounds
4. pool tables
5. lots of seating
6. good downtown location
Please spread the word for the next few weeks while I gear up for a full poster and flyer campaign in early Feb. |

indeed..who said psy is dead..psy rules and should be appreciated...i still dunno why lazurus fails to put a TA logo....

I never knew people thought psy is dead, NO WAY! although it truly is underground though.
I'm a HUGE psy trance fan. Psy does rule indeed, it makes me feel soo good when I'm listening to it. It literally takes me to another world. |

I already have the TA logo and have started putting it on the DARKRAVE flyers no problem. When I designed the 'SPACE AGE' flyer I just forgot. Sorry. When I make a new batch of flyers the logo will be there.
Psy is not dead. As a matter of fact I would almost say it is still in its infancy as far as having a wider audience know of its existence. Underground is the word of the day in this situation.
If any of you guys are going to hit up 'Space Age' at Zen try to come out on Thurs Feb 13 for the proper Grand Opening. We will be giving away prizes and will have some decor figured out by then. It is a good night with a diverse playlist. |
