| My car (Porsche 944 S2, 16 valve 4 cylinder turbo) toped out at 155mph. Just wouldnt go any faster. Held that speed for about 2 minutes on a curvey road with a 55mph limit. |

Uhmmm, what year is your RX-7? Because Rx-7 comes with 5 speed manual overdrive and optional 4 speed automatic overdrive.

| ive done 160 km in a 50 zone but the fastes with my car was 200 km on the highway with my dads benz |

I seriously dont think that you could go 168 or 169 mph on an RX-7, were you talking in KM???? because the max speed on rx7 is only 160 mph. I know most of the german (bmw m series, porsches, etc) automobiles are limited to 155 mph. Only car that I know that can go over 200 mph is that one expensive ass corvette.

He is right. My uncle (who works for Audi) basically dumped 20 grand into a twin turbo system with his rx-7 (5 speed manual dunno where the lie about the 6 came from) and it topped out at 191 mph.
Not many cars can hit the 2oo mark XxremedyxX! fok, even many ferrari's and lamborghini's are in the sub 2oo category. One that i know for sure passes that is the F1. A few ferraris can but that is it. My uncle has added so much, aerodynamically, to his rx-7 so it sticks. a stock rx-7 (or one with the cheap aftermarket wing) doesnt provide enough downforce to keep the thing under bloody control at speeds above 160.......... so please recant what you said and tell the truth. |

| yeah the RX7 going 168 at 2,500RPM on 6th gear sounds totally wrong. That means your engine is pretty much at idle at 168... your gear ratios cannot be that long and there would be no power in that powerband to move the car faster. |

| I'm VERY impressed at the kind of speeds I'm seeing here. Are there speed limits where you do these kind of speeds or are you doing them on a racetrack? Also, if there are speed limits, how are you not getting caught, hurting other people or even killing yourself at those kind of speeds (169 and 191 mi/h sound pretty fast to being on regular roads/motorways)? How fast can you stop when going at above 200 km/h (125 mi/h)? |

my truck doesnt go past 180 kmph thats including downhil lol
but ive gone about 250 kmph with my moms mercedes benz..not to mention i trashed her last one hehe that was a summers earnings well spent haha |
