After loving Under The Sun for a while now, I finally got around to checking out the rest of what's on offer from Filo and Peri.......omg, all of their stuff is just as good as Under The Sun!!! These guys are amazing...I really really like their style....so gorgeous, without being tooooo cheezey or uplifting....most trance really hasn't done a lot for me lately cos it all sounds so the same and generic - totally formulaic.....but sumhow, the tracks from these guys just sound different - more 'real'....like u can tell how much genuine heart and soul is in them :)
All their stuff is great, but I'm particularly loving:
Filo & Peri - Spectrum (such a beautiful piano intro!!!)
Empire State - Niagara (filo & peri bangin mix) (f & p ARE empire state - just another name they use)
Empire State - Adironda ((filo & peri bangin mix)
And yeah nath, i95 is mint!!!!! |

really didnt like it :(
saw it on chemical the other day.. thought "ooo matt darey" listened to it and was pretty disappointed didnt buy it |

The main reason i like it is well it brings back the vibe of the old Darey style that i love. It has a cross between "Nocturnal Delight" and "You Shine On" or "Beautiful".
I dunno if i'm easily impressed with Darey stuff but this one really stands out for me, seriously give this song a chance, it will grow on people.
Check the other mixes especially the Airbase mix which is more uplifting, Original is much more mellow, very good to relax to a sunset or other crap :toothless:
ahhh i dunno, i love this song :)
If you hate this song then you'll love "Intoxicate" coming out with "New Begining" on the flip, which is practically a vocal version of it :(, but the lead is so nice. Has that Nocturnal Delight feel. |

Sonicvibe and Mike Shiver - Lunation (Masters and Nickson Mix)
This is nice but doesnt really do it for me. It really really reminds of another tune as well, but i just can't place it.
Matanka - Lost In A Dream (Push Mix)
Good tune, nothing amazing tho. I'll probably buy it.
Ofra Haza - Love Song (M.I.K.E. vs Zigi Mix):eyes:
Wicked! Dark and haunting chants with a little bit of a techy feel.
Sun Decade - Follow You (Kyau vs Albert Mix)
This is ok. I have been checking alot more of Kyau vs Albert's stuff lately. I don't mind it, it's pretty good but the vocal is a little cheesy. A dub would be nice with just a little bit of the vocal here and there.
Push - Electric Eclips (Tranqua Mix)
:eyespop: This is ING AWESOME. This is the best stuff from M.I.K.E. i've heard in a while. Sounds a lot like his The Gift work. Powerful as . :eyespop:
The original is good also but doesnt touch the Tranqua mix.
Dave Gahan - I Need You (Gabriel and Dresden Unplugged Mix)
I don't know how old this is but it is fantastic. So soothing but still with a solid amount of drive and pace. It just sort of sweeps over you. Great tune.
Rio Klein - Fearless (Push Mix)
So yeah I probably do listen to more MIKE than i should but this is another great tune. I always find it interesting when MIKE uses or at least retains vocals. Vocals here sound awesome in the breakdown.
