How do you get energy to dance all night without e? (pg. 2)

i disagree with the "you're a if you cant do it naturally"

cuz really, the human body is not supposed to stay up during the night.

thus all this partying is quite unnatural. though many can do it, i must point out that everyone's constitution and biological clock are totally different. some people just sleep a lot. those people can't last a long time awake all night, and especially not while dancing as well. doesn't matter if they take a nap or whatever.

also, another factor are your regular sleep/waking times. if you're normal, and go sleep earlier than "usual", then staying up all night for a party is insanely difficult. on the other hand if you stay up till 3 am every night, then making the stretch 'till 8am+ isn't too much difficult.

So, 404 science, don't worry a single bit if it's hard to stay up, and certainly don't think that you're "unnatural."

i'd just suggest what some others have suggested - get a lot of sleep beforehand, and take plenty of breaks during the night - just make sure you don't fall asleep during them! (lol).

OH! and drink lots of water! keep your body hydrated (but that goes without saying). plus, what i find is a lifesaver, is if there are refreshments of some sort available. i remember ball en blanc last year in montreal, what SAVED me was eating that one apple. that was the best tasting apple ever. fruit does wonders! :D

Try to duplicate your going out routine a couple of days before the event. IOW wake up at 3am on the thursday, and friday. You'll feel tired earlier (8pm)..go to bed and wake up to go out around 2-3am.

imo im not being a if i take speed...
i need half a pill to be able to keep dancing like a mofo till the end of a set of marco v for example....in the case of a hard set like mauro gives, i just dont trust someone that tells me he danced like i did without some drugs...its IMPOSSIBLE to dance very hard during 4 hours at 6 am without the use of drug....
i admit that if i could dance through the night without drugs i wold do it but i cant...half a speed doesnt ruin ure hole week-end and it keeps me in shape to dance till 7h so the rest of the set is on my energy....
i think ill never stop taking speed cause (i dont care if some of u think this is false) it puts u in an other state of mind and i can focus on the beat not on my body cause it doesnt hurt!
i would also ad that it aint making a geek out of me cause i aint looking like someone being in his own world and just enjoying his buzz...im there for the music and the pill just makes it easier to pass the night without pain...

heheh yes, I drink red bulls like water, maybe 3-4+ a night!! I don't know if there's a real effect or more of a psychological effect (placebo effect).

no man cant be a placebo.. I mean look at how much coke wires a kid. Or how coffee wakes you up in the morning. One little redbull has about three or four times more cafeen than a coke. I think swamper posted the actual cafeen content on one of the thread in here somewhere.

it's all about having a nap.....

usually from 8-11 or something...

then ya stay up as long as ya can..and if your just to damn tired at 5 am, then i'll pop an e....and if the music is gonna be amazing, heck, e is much better than alcohol anyway....cheaper too.

but staying up past 7 sober is pretty much impossble if ya still wanna dance...unless the music is realy really good....

Here you go, I did Sander,for his 7.5 hour long set and dance like a ing mad chicken without a head (ask Meat if you don't beleive me) then I slept 7 hours and went to JOOF in Ottawa and danced for another 6 hours, albeit not as crazily. I did it all without any redbull or drugs. Gatorade for sander and water for JOOF and that's it. It's all about sleep, and a good meal before hand. Being in shape helps too.
